Thanks Justin and MV for the reply. In the matter of Mark Snows Music I'm sometimes a little greedy and unpatient. Sorry for that.

Can't get enough of his works for the X Files smile

Let's cross fingers for 2014 and another Volume and that my copy of the second Set arrives fast...

Ordered mine yesterday....I had an autographed VOL 1 so no big deal I missed this one. Thanks for the great work, LLL.

Another user here a few weeks ago said BuySoundtrax was going to have more Snow scores out before the end of hte year. I have no idea where he got that information. Maybe Banning or Thaxton can chime in to quash or confirm said comment.

Received my Vol. 2 today! Thanks La La Land! However, I noticed that the print on the hardcover is slightly crooked. On the front and with the fine print on the back. :/

I know I'm nitpicking, but was just wondering if anybody else noticed this.

Of course unless my eyes are just fooling me...

Hardcover?

Are you talking about the slipcase?

Yes, sorry, the slipcase.

Mine looks just fine.

You should send an e-mail to La-La Land Records, maybe attach a couple of pictures so they can see something happened with the printing on your slipcase.

Well that's good, I suppose I might. Like I said, it's not too bad, I feel like a jerk even bringing it up lol. Maybe I'm just being overly sensitive with my inspection.

Anyone else hear something out of place on X Files Vol 2, Disc 1, Track 19, around the 18-19 second mark? Like a momentary "zzzzt" sound? Doesn't sound like any instrumentation in the rest of the track. I thought it was my ears playing tricks, but I played it in two different devices with same result.

I hear it too. It's barely a second long, so I'm not bothered. I'm assuming it's probably endemic to the original source (if you listen closely on headphones there are several small glitches here and there, but they don't sound like CD mastering errors, just products of the early digital editing, samples, etc.).

Mine arrived today. Thank you, LaLa Land! Only had time to listen to a few tracks but I am especially appreciative for the tracks that cover the "helicopter" and "glacier" scenes from Gethsemane. I know no CD will ever please everyone, so not complaining. I do wish the Herrenvolk cues had included the opening, when the lineman is stung by the bee. For some reason, that brief cue encapsulates the mystery that was much of The X-Files. Nevertheless, a great collection and thanks again! Looking forward to Vol. 3.

Has anyone noticed if someone has posted the album cover of volume 2? MV only posted the promo photo of the set.

Hoping for one to be posted, doesn't look as good on the iPod with just a music symbol...excellent set none the less, looking forward to another dose when Vol 3 drops (hopefully next year)...

Sorry I meant the paper insert that's in the jewel case. MV posted a high resolution one for Volume One. I wonder if he would be so kind to do so for Volume Two?

N.A.D., Thanks for the scan. Hopefully one will appear. smile I don't know why the artwork doesn't appear in iTunes unless it wasn't uploaded to the Gracenote database?
