Well, Cole & Claire uses the theme from the song Lost In The Night by Peabo Bryson which never appeared in the film. But perhaps you knew that.

Or vice versa... (?)

I actually wasn't aware of this song until I saw it mentioned (by you I think) in one of the Days Of Thunder threads a little while back, no.

Off all the Days Of Thunder (music related) songs, regardless if made for, or used in the film or not, this Bryson song is the one I can listen to (and enjoy .. more or less) ... would love an instrumental of it.

The instrumental is on "the unmentionable", at least...

No no, I'm talking about the actual instrumental of the Bryson song. Not the "theme suite". They're not the same...

I don’t care what anyone including Zimmer says but Day’s of Thunder is one of the coolest scores ever and Darlington certainly is the coolest score track ever written.

Get this while you can.

Wish I could. It's a top 10 Zimmer for me, and I would have loved to own it (C&C or not). But alas, shipping costs say no.

I'm curious why there are two prices, though. It says $22 at the top, but $20 in the description?

I'm not sure where you're seeing that, compadre, but the announcement in this thread was for the 2013 release which was priced at $19.98, whereas the version that was recently restocked is the 2020 reissue (with identical content) priced at $21.98.

Incidentally, I've never seen Days of Thunder (!), but given the fact that the reissue is going out of print and it's currently 25% off, I checked out some samples and couldn't resist the purchase. Sounds like vintage Zimmer and a helluvalotta fun!

Yes, but both prices were at the same page, hence a bit of confusion:

Ah, I see. I thought you were referring to this thread. Maybe they used the prior release's page as a template for the reissue and forgot to update the price.
