Bruce, in another thread you mentioned a few Kritzer titles that were on the verge of selling out. What were those titles again? I can't remember what thread you posted that info in.
Ordered! (But through SAE as I could not made my old Paypal account to work and can not open a new one with the same e-mail!)
Bruce can you add some more clips to ease the wait? Specially something from the unreleased tracks (maybe those are too short for clips) or from Wild Braces or The Worm without chorus?
i'd also love to see the alternate cover you included in the back of the booklet.
Ordered my copy, many thanks Kritzerland! This is a score ive wanted for a while and im glad i held off for this definitive release ( at a stellar price). I could really get used to more releases like this

I'll see about the clips. I'm hoping but can't promise that we'll have them sometime near the end of first week of September or maybe mid-week the following week. Here's the alternate cover on the back of the booklet:
Wow, just waded through waaaay too much bitching about an absolutely fabulous release to get here. Way to go, Kritzerland! I own all of the previous releases of this... including the first 30 minute Intrada version... and didn't hesitate one second to order the shit out of this clearly definitive version. I can't wait to hear it! Congrats to everyone involved!
I ordered it because I love the music to this film that much. But jeez, I think the cover art is awful. Not that it's that important, but it does look a little bootleggy.

Which cover art are you speaking of, the front cover art, which is the film poster art but better designed, or the little extra back of the booklet cover? Neither looks "bootleggy" in any way - have you ever SEEN a bootleg because I have and I'm afraid you're completely wrong. It's okay to not like the cover design (which is NOT the one on this page, but the one on the first page of this thread) but I can't really agree with your poor choice of words.
Bruce, if I were you I wouldn' t waste time answering trolls - all of them very well known posters who always behave this way - and keep you busy with idiotic questions or comments.

Amazing release anyway.
I know, I must not take the bait. Hard not to because it's so silly.
For those who enjoy the numbers game - so far over 1200 have sold and I have yet to hear from several dealers. Wouldn't wait too too long. Needless to say, glad we did the 1500 and equally glad we didn't do 2000. Had we done 1000 it would have maybe been the quickest sell out in history because the first thousand were gone within two hours this morning.
Eager to have "Goldsmith in... my ho-ly tem..............ple! Watermelon trolls.... be silent now...."

?
I think it's somewhere on the last couple of pages of The Miracle Worker thread - Preminger at Fox is on the verge, Pride and the Passion/Kings Go Forth, My Geisha, Divorce American Style/The Art of Love, Mulholland Falls, Saint Joan
Clarke, Elite Soundtracks the UK online retailer are offering this CD for a few pounds cheaper. I just ordered it direct from Kritzerland to get it quicker, but if you want it cheaper, Elite could be an option.

Just curious. How long does this International Express shipping usually take from US to UK?
If the package is not picked up by Customs to have import charges applied, I find it normally takes 6-10 days.
If the package is picked up by Customs (very likely if it's a multi-disc order or a box set), you can add a few days to that and they'll only deliver once you've settled the import charges.
A comment on postage costs to UK ...
When I imported the ELMER BERNSTIEN box recently, as well as USPS' huge postal charges, I had to pay an extra £23 (about $36) in import charges.
It stacks up! ... and that's why I find it cheaper overall to buy one or two discs at a time rather than bulk them up to save postage, 'cos that's when you get the import charges slapped on them too.
But I have to say, though, that if you want the music — and you want it on CD — you have to pay the dues. It's just the way it is, unfortunately. And not the labels' fault.
It does make its a lot more expensive to practice this hobby in the UK than the US, alas.
