With due respect to Antineutrino, there's also the possibility that the track listing is incorrect. I can't understand why LLL would split the complete score over two discs, when it would easily fit on one. Having to switch discs just to listen to the remaining few minutes would be very annoying.

I hope your are right, Michael !!

Anyone knows the time of the releases?

Why are'nt tracks 1-4 of disc 2 on the end of disc 1? They look like they'd fit. And the original album would have been more accessible on a CD to itself.

Maybe an effort to balance the CDs at about an hour each rather than 40 minutes here and 80 there?

Yeah, it's been mentioned several times in this thread, not least by La La Land themselves.wink

... I was asking for the "hour" time, no the "date" time smile
They will be released today, but what's the time for France/Switzerland, please? 9 p.m.?

9pm in CET area = 12 PST. it was said that it should be announced between 11 and 12am PST, so I suppose between 20:00 and 21:00 of "our" time smile

I understand the "complete score + album" thing if album has a different arrangement. Is this the case?

Cause if it's not, who cares for the (shorter) album presentation after 75 min of full Conti score?

Totally right! I can't wait to have this album in my hands (as I missed both the old editions)!

I think thats a pretty good question - and I can only speak for myself when I say "I would".

Album presentation is *everything* and while the Edel version is superior to the Varese (which is the one featured on the second disc), it'll be interesting to see how musical ideas evolve and play off each other.

Besides, Intrada did this for The Wind And The Lion - and I didn't see you complain then?

so, what happens when there were 2 album presentation, like in this score??? wink You say you prefer EDEL'S over VARESE, but people would prefer the latter.

maybe they should have made a 3 disc with 3 arrangements of the same music!!! Nah...

and I dont care for DISC 2 on WIND&LION, but at least there you had the whole score into first disc.

I'd defend my point - but I think you just did that for me.

Me neither. In fact, it was just too long in the end...

Exactly, if this is really the actual tracklisting then it is another entry in the 'weird marketing and/or production decisions list' 2008.

Why not using this free space for an audio interview like Perseverance is doing ??

May I ask those that don't want an autograph to order the CD hours after its release? I don't want to re-live the SAE blue box nightmare.

Why not appreciate that LLL is releasing a two disc expansion of a soundtrack thats been put twice out of print?

God theres almost no satisfying you people.
