There's good stuff on the expanded version, but the sound quality is so crazy weird that it's tough to listen to at times.
Now tell me about this other "Helicopter Sequence." Do you mean the Debney re-recording?
I just mean the film edit. For years I had this track right off the film as part of my Superman cassette, I wanted it so bad. Then the Rhino 2CD comes out (and yes, the re-recording before that) and it has all of this... EXTRA music! Now I have the blue box and I've added a rip from the isolated score on the DVD. Hence going back and forth over which one is "right".
There nothing wrong with Batman 89 expanded edition disc one but I didn't listen to Disc 2 yet and I love music there nothing missing on CD come on people I been listen to it lot I don't see any missing at lot it nothing like Indiana Jones Expanded Edition boxset there lot thing are missing like Drink game/ Indiana found Ark/ Marion and Mummy/ Desert Chase cut out/ another two Indiana Jones soundtrack are missing
I played it once and never spun it again. I don't know. Sounds weak and tinty, almost mono. Certainly not any better than the original release. I also agree the original album is the best listening experience.

Ah, that's right. I keep forgetting to add magnetic poetry to my Target list. Thanks, man!
