the hints that I am thinking of would be easy giveaways, so let's try this the mini classic was from the 56 to 59 period.

I am a composer who has scored a few dozen films since the 80's. a few of them were genre films including a remake of a mini Scifi classic from the 50's.. oh yes I actually was a member in my early days of a rock group who also have done a few film scores as well. WHO AM I?

Second try: Michael Hoenig.

Correct- the blob was the mini classic remake and Michael worked with the group TANGERINE DREAM, who also scored films.

TRUE OR FALSE- Did BOBBY SHERMAN ever do music for a genre film? If he did what was the name of it?

Yes the teen idol of the late 60's early 70's who had a string of big hits on the charts BOBBY SHERMAN did do music for the 1974 TV SCIFI film THE DAY THE EARTH MOVED. When I was a very young one I lived and breathe BOBBY SHERMAN'S HIT SONG, JULIE, for the first girl I had a crush on was named JULIE. OH MY, her hair went down to her butt[beautiful hair] and she just had such a great butt. Like a perfect ski slope. Anyway like many of our early romantic attempts it was semi fleeting lasting about 12 months till the next grade. Then a girl name MICHELLE came into my life, now she had---------------- never mind.

I may as well reveal the answer to my most recent question ... which is ...

... ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK (1972) [in English, as per dan's request].

I believe this may be the favo(u)rite Bruno Nicolai soundtrack of "wayoutwest", but I don't think he looks inside this thread.

Josh Mitchell, though, is another person who might (I would think) know the answer to this.

This Digitmovies CD has been 'sold out' for a while (so I'm not pushing products here smile ).
[but I do wish Graham Watt considers getting SEDDOK - I think it's right up his alley]

To DanTheMan: Even the most knowledgable Horror Film buff would have been hard pressed to figure the Bobbi Sherman connection out. Stumped is what I was big grin

To Mr.Tone: thanks for the info. Lo need to bone up on Italian genre films and scores.

Thankfully, between you, Mr. Mitchell and Wayoutwest, I should do just fine.

To Advise and consent- Here is I think a tough one[anyone else can answer of course if you like] I am a singer from a very well known pop rock group who had many top 40 hits in the 60's.Matter of fact we even did a movie or so with our music in the 60's. But on my own , away from my group in the 70's I appeared in a crime horror film of sought. WHO AM I?

It was so nice to finally have my name on a movie after ghostwriting so many scores. There sure have been a lot of horror movies on my resume, with the occasional action movie sprinkled in. Can't say I've made many false moves in my career.

Who am I?
