Listening to Wyatt Earp and just loving it. James Newton Howard has crafted a score for the ages.

Wow! Wow! Wow! I bought "Wyatt Earp" simply on the strength of the title music. I've never seen the movie. I am floored -- it is a magisterial score. James Newton Howard hit the ball out of the park on that one! And many thanks to La La Land for bringing it complete to our ears!

Anyone who got Debney's Jobs? Is it a good score?

I got it, as usual, by chance. If it's really important to anyone who didn't get it, it's free to a good home.

Well like I said above, the first cue is nice thematic orchestral material but the rest of it is very much your modern low key drama score with acoustic guitar. A few of the cues near the end give the theme a good reprise but I didn't feel like any of it topped the first cue.

YOR just got hiw "Wyatt Earp" and "Reloaded" albums and, gosh, they are great!

Listening to "Reloaded" now. It sounds really impressive. Much better than the promo.

Nice job LaLaLand!

I did though I haven't gotten my discs yet in the mail. Canada Post sucks.

Got it. Nice to see a simple signature, one where you clearly can read the name. With our without the signature, the score is brilliant!

Got my "Matrix Reloaded" and "Wyatt Earp" discs today (here in the UK), but not the signed "Matrix Reloaded" booklet I was expecting, sadly.

It's about time I revisited the Matrix films - I haven't seen the second and third ones since their theatrical release!

Looking forward to revisiting "Wyatt Earp", too - the discs and packaging look great.. can't wait to listen to them!

Got mine today, plus Wyatt Earp. Can't wait to dive into them.

The only thing that somewhat sours the La-La Land experience is the fact that almost every CD I purchase from their store arrives with a completely smashed/broken/cracked jewel case. Wyatt took most of the abuse this time around, I had to replace most of the case. Luckily there was no damage to the booklet or inlay. There was quite a bit of bubblewrap but man, those thin envelopes... anyone else from outside the US having this problem? If only they'd use cardboard boxes like Intrada...

I'm in the U.S. and I have this problem quite frequently, but I don't really mind the condition of the jewel case as long as the CD sits on the spindle. The trick is to order a whole crapload of CDs from LLL, and then they'll put them in a box smile

Don't blame LLL for that!

The hard truth fact is A LOT of people in the postal industry here in the states can be VERY abusive to packages, even if they're marked "handle with care". It's also possible there can be the same type of people in your country.

I'm not saying it's their fault, I know how the postal industry handles packages. I love LLL's releases too much to be angry with them or anything, I'm just saying that boxes tend to prevent damage better than envelopes, especially when the package has to travel around half the globe. I've had zero broken cases from Intrada vs. the majority from LLL. It's not a HUGE deal as long as I can replace the cases...

To end this on a positive note - the sound quality on the Matrix Reloaded is incredible so far!

Got my copies today including DD signature on my Reloaded CD. WOW! I spun Wyatt Earp first and, gawd is it wonderful. I actually got goose bumps when I heard some of the previously un released tracks. It's been ages since a score did that to me.

Thanks LLL for two incredible releases. I had to spin Chateau Swashbuckling first from Matrix Reloaded. Terrific cue. Love all the modulations and how Davis superimposed his brass signature motif with the more pirate like music. Talk about a smart composer!

Haha what do you know my copy for Reloaded came today. I'll definitely give this a spin and no doubt it'll make the "promo" obsolete.

Regarding Davis' version for "Chateau Swashbuckling", I actually have to say I like it better than Rob Dougan's version.
