We're hoping to take seat requests starting sometime next week! We will have a VERY limited supply of seats and I can't say enough, if you are going or want to go get your ticket ASAP. Every year our wait list gets bigger and bigger which I must admit to that I really dislike. I hate telling my fellow film music friends sorry we're full frown

We're slowing building this event up, but the proper way to do it is slowly and not all at once!

Can't wait to see a lot of old friends and hopefully make some new ones!

Well Peter I promise I will come back to your event NEXT year so save a seat for me to that event.

Tobias we'll ALWAYS have a seat for you my friend, always! We'll miss you, but I'm glad we were able to get Graeme Revell there for you. You were the first person after I got confirmation he was coming that I told so that you could gather up your covers before you flew over. I can't remember, but I think you may have already been headed over here. Least I tried buddy smile

catboy19-Publically we are announcing Cliff Eidelman and Jeff Beal at this time. Robert Townson will be there as well THE flutist for all these great Varese concerts as well as a session musician who plays on some truly cool films in Los Angeles, Sara Andon. We have more composers coming and will announce them here and there of course! I may be announcing one or two next week!

We'd like to continue our announcement of composers with Mr. Randy Edelman to this years Fans of Film Music! Does Randy really need an introduction? We all know him and his music. Ever since Kindergarten Cop I've been an admirer of his music. Varese Sarabande has released countless scores by him on their label. Here are just a few, Come See The Paradise, Kindergarten Cop, The Distinguished Gentleman, The Last of the Mohicans (re-recording), My Cousin Vinny, Citizen X, While You Were Sleeping, The Quest, For Richer or Poorer, Leave it to Beaver, Shanghai Noon, The Whole Nine Yards, The Black Knight, XXX, Surviving Christmas, The Ten Commandments, Balls of Fury, 27 Dresses, The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor, Leap Year and Randy's FIRST studio recording in over 20 years Randy Edelman: The Pacific Flow To Abbey Road. I can't begin to tell you how honored we are to have Mr. Edelman on board this year. Let's really make him feel welcome on October 20th!

If you would like to secure a seat at this years Fans of Film Music 4 for October 20th and for the exclusive Christopher Young Meet and Greet on October 18th at his personal home, please email Peter Hackman at peter @fansoffilmmusic.com. Please take out the SPACE in my email address between the letter R and the @ sign. Please allow till Sunday night July 28th for Peter Hackman to respond due to the amount of requests that are expected, thank you. $25 is the donation price for this years event. ALL proceeds go directly into putting this entire event on for us fans smile You MUST email Peter at the email provided as he will not be accepting ANY RSVP's through Facebook. Only through his email address. Once Peter gives you instructions on how to pay and you pay THEN you are officially pre-registered and have a seat reserved at the event. Please don't delay if you are interested in going to this event. Each year our wait list gets bigger and bigger and we'd hate to see you on that rater un-pleasant list. Also email peter if you have ANY questions at all, he's happy to assist his fellow fans with anything they need!

October 18th, Friday join us at composer Christopher Young's personal home for food, drinks entertainment and a personal autograph signing with Chris. The fun will start at 7PM and will go until the cops show up smile The Friday night Meet and Greet is an EXCELLENT change to meet some old friends and make some new ones. If you are new to this whole scene I can't tell you enough how important it is to come to this. Within minutes you'll start talking about film music and feel you've known this group your whole life!

October 19th, Saturday join us for THE Halloween concert of the decade. Varese Sarabande and the Golden State Pops Orchestra are joining forces to give us one terrifying concert as we all continue the year long celebration of 35 Years of Varese Sarabande Records. If you have never been to the GSPO in San Pedro, which is a short drive from Los Angeles, I can't recommend them enough. The $25 FFM Pre-Register price does NOT include your ticket to the GSPO concert smile Tickets are NOW available and can be bought here https://gspo.secure.force.com/ticket#sections_a03G000000aQk0cIAC

October 20th, Sunday join us for two star studded panels with several composers, Robert Townson and Sara Andon as we celebrate 35 Years of Varese Sarabande Records. We will have two panels and all the fun starts at 1PM. Our panel moderators this year again are super agent Mr. Richard Kraft from the Kraft-Engel Agency as well as Mr. Daniel Schweiger host of On the Score. The event will take place again at the beautiful Beverly Garland Hotel in their spacious Grand Ballroom. We plan on having our dealers room open as well. The Garland has supplied us with a special discounted rate which I'll give out that special link to those who pre-register and are confirmed as going! After each panel we'll have a short and sweet autograph signing where each fan will be allowed three items of their choice. So pick your top three from these talented folks to get autographed! This will be strictly enforced due to time constraints. Our time as well as the composers time is very limited and we need everyone working together so we can get these composers in and out as fast as we can.

We may have a few smaller get togethers in between these events, like possibly something Saturday around lunch time and/or a get together after the second panel on Sunday October 20th. We'll let you know for sure.

COMPOSERS CONFIRMED
Cliff Eidelman-The Big Miracle, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, The Ultimate Star Trek, One True Thing, Free Willy 3.

Christopher Lennertz-Hop, Marmaduke, Cats and Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore.

Robert Townson Producer of over 1200 soundtrack albums at Varese Sarabande Records
and
Sara Andon who is performing at all the 35th Varese Sarabande concerts throughout the world this year and who has worked on numerous Hollywood films as a flutist!

There will be no refunds given once you pre-register and pay for the event. Composers are scheduled to appear, but sometimes their schedules change at the very last second and are unable to attend. This happens sometimes in Hollywood. We'll keep you updated on any changes that may take place through this Facebook page as well as the official website, www.fansoffilmmusic.com. More composers will be added once we get confirmations from them in the coming weeks and month(s).

PS: This was taken from our Facebook page, Fans of Film Music, where we announce every so often a composer who is coming. That is why Randy is up at the top as a special mention. We mentioned him today as coming and then went into the announcement of the event. All the other composers have been given the same announcement as Randy, but earlier on.

Jason great to hear!

BIG NEWS!

I would like to announce another composer to this years Fans of Film Music 4 event set for October 20th.

Mr. Joseph LoDuca!

You may know his music from the original Evil Dead movie series directed by Sam Raimi and the Army of Darkness film. Joseph has had many fine albums released on Varese Sarabande's label. Here are a few of them: several soundtracks from the Xena Warrior Princess TV show, as well as several from the Hercules TV show, the original Evil Dead films, Army of Darkness, Young Hercules, and a few CD's from the TV show Spartacus. His Spartacus scores are his newest creation and I have to tell you they are absolutely phenomenal. I had not seen the film, but received the CD's to listen to and I can honestly say without a doubt I was blown away by all three of them.

Varese Sarabande has several of his scores available to order on their website, www.varesesarabande.com. Do a search in the upper right corner for LoDuca.

I can't wait to have you all meet Mr. LoDuca in October!

We also have a specially priced HOTEL code for guests who fly in and want to stay at the hotel where the event is, the Beverly Garland Hotel. Here is the link

MORE composer NEWS!!!

I am delighted to let everyone know we have secured Mr. Reinhold Heil to this years Fans of Film Music 4. Reinhold along with Johnny Klimek created one terrifying listen with Varese's Land of the Dead score. Mr. Heil also had The International released on Varese Sarabande Records as well.

We couldn't be more happy and honored to have Reinhold Heil on board this year!

Besides those two great Varese titles, the other one that is a favorite of mine is his Cloud Atlas score, phenomenal writing!
