Amazon UK still lists July 29th release date.
I think it has been pushed only for about a week or so.
Unless this one is just first of many delays.

Let's wait and see how much Prokofiev will be in this one!

If he can steal minutes from Romeo and Juliet for Star Trek III, imagine when he's scoring the actual thing!!! smile

It's the first time that Horner has ever had a score rejected or thrown out. At least they got a good replacement, rather than another MV/RC composer.

Well now we know what score Abel has been talking about on his Facebook page lately

Wow, just wow!!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Now a really dumb movie (which barely stood together if not for Horner), is truly dead in the water.

Given that the film is designed for the teenage girl audience and the score (as I heard in three preview screenings) is a mix of 90's Horner with a true emotional theme, it makes sense that they would throw out a score with anything close to a thematic and tonal sound in favor of the numbing emotionless we've come to expect these days.

Shame on you Swarovski Entertainment!

Guess I won't be getting my preorder of Horner's score! I'm glad Abel got the replacement job, but I was very excited to hear Horner's work on this.

Definitely not the first, but the first in a while. Remember Young Guns and Heaven Help Us?

Oh, come on, that's not fair. Korzeniowski is a FANTASTIC composer!

Not sure how that description fits Abel's ouvre so far...

Anyone could hardly expected that from someone as incredibly talented as Korzeniowski obviously is. We'll get a masterpiece, I don't doubt that for a single second, but what the hell?!!!

Looks like it's a bad year for Horner. First Ender's Game, now Romeo & Juliet (curiously, both starring Hailee Steinfeld). Now let's hope that he doesn't get replaced with The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

While is sucks that Horner got canned Abel is a brilliant and inspired replacement. His score to ESCAPE FROM TOMORROW is already number 1 on my best of 2013 list. Can't wait to hear this!

Escape from Tomorrow is great!

Any idea if the 26 minute digital OST is the complete score or not?
