Message from space-78-Japan, beautiful score, any cd on that one?

Yes, that's a great one. Not horror, though, but sci-fi/tokusatsu. It's been released twice on CD in Japan. The first issue has 23 tracks, consisting of the "Symphonic Suite" plus 12 other cues, but it's been out of print for a decade: http://www.godzillamonstermusic.com/message.htm

The more recent reissue is part of the Animex series of budget reissues, and consists only of the 11-track Symphonic Suite: http://www.screenarchives.com/title_detail.cfm/ID/13316/MESSAGE-FROM-SPACE-Symphonic-Suite/

STILL waiting for Trevor Rabin's EXORCIST:THE BEGINNING score to get a proper release. With the popularlity of Mr Rabin I thought someone might have brought it out. I felt it was real departure from his usual style and a great wee horror score. Some of the stuff at the film's end was very spectatcular!...AND it was sort of the score for TWO, count them, TWO movies!!

I enjoyed Exorcist- the beginning score as well, Trevor Rabin is a much underrated composer.

Glancing over the thread, the following of the titles in it had releases in the last 2 years:

Beyond Reanimator
Fright Night
House of Usher
Prison
Stephen King's It
The Thing (BSX rerecording)
2 x Wolfen

Lots of Intrada by the way.
