You know,PFK,after the Victor Young's are accounted for, we are really running out of golden age Paramount titles that haven't been done already. This is true if such titles as THE HEIRESS, THE FURIES, ALIAS NICK BEAL, COME BACK LITTLE SHEBA, CARRIE,and ROMAN HOLIDAY are "impossibilities" for one reason or another. I hope to see NEVADA SMITH and THE TEN COMMANDMENTS released before year's end. I like to think there is still a fair amount of Paramount golden age still there and in good condition. Maybe Bruce would know. Last year Bruce said he was planning four Victor Young, hope that is still the plan. If so, we have three yet to look forward to. Nevada Smith is a top want for me too. I'm surprised no one has done it by now. Hope it is possible. I would think it would sell very well. I bought the LP (re-recording) when it came out. Ten Commandments .... Yes! I saw the film when it came out in 1956 and the main title music really impressed me even back then ....... and I was only 10 years old! I would like to see a label issue a few Warner Bros. Steiner, Waxman, Tiomkin, Roemheld etc. Still, I have hope we will see some more golden age CDs for a few more years .......

I'm very interested in those Kaplans but there are a hell of a lot more than a few Friedhofers I want...assuming they survive in salvageable form. Since we got Ranchipur complete after Varese had supposedly released all that survived (measly four tracks) my hopes for more Friedhofer being salvaged with new technology shot right up! Yavar P.S. We're also supposed to be getting a fourth Goldsmith from Bruce one of these days... Should be sooner than later - being worked on as we speak.

Nick Redman LOVES The Spider. Nick Redman LOVES Paternity, and is frankly shocked at the lack of interest in both. Just saying.

And now for something completely different - clews for our next release! Reissue of a long OOP CD, I mean LOOOONG OOP like thirteen years or more.

Nick Redman LOVES The Spider. Nick Redman LOVES Paternity, and is frankly shocked at the lack of interest in both. Just saying. I have and love both. (Actually, I've been listening to "Paternity" quite a bit over the last month.) But on the other hand, I'm not Nick Redman, so I doubt my endorsement will help move any more copies. Would that it could, though... I also look forward to hearing more Hyldgaard (and Shire?) from the Land of Kritzer. Any word on shipping for "And the World Goes 'Round"? And I may as well start the line of questioning about the upcoming release. Is the composer new to the Kritzerland stable, or have they been previously represented?

And the World Goes Round shipped yesterday. Composer has been on Kritzerland before.

If it was to be TLG, it would have to include the missing 20 second coda, composed by Goldsmith, after the End Title song. Otherwise, there would be mass panic and I would have to invade Kritzerland's silo.
