CIRCLE OF IRON-78- is a nice score with a fine end theme by MR SMEATON. I also would recommend the film, it's a thought provoking effort with a great ending.

MICHAEL'S TERMS OF ENDEARMENT is a very touching theme that works perfectly with the sad emotional tale this film was.

BRUCE BROUGHTON was born on MARCH 8, 1945 in LOS ANGELAS CALIFORNIA. Bruce since the 70;s has scored over 80 feature length films, a lot were films for TV, for sure early in his career in the early 70's.One of his most prolific TV assignments was scoring the hit sensation DALLAS for a bunch of years. Some of his better known scores were for SILVERADO, YOUNG SHERLOCK HOLMES,THE BOY WHO COULD FLY,HARRY AND THE HENDERSONS[later a TV show] THE MONSTER SHOW, LAST RITES, BETSY;S WEDDING, HONEY I BLEW UP THE KID,HOMEWARD BOUND, TOMBSTONE, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, LOST IN SPACE, ETC ETC. Recently Bruce sadly has gotten into the mainstream news over a controversial decision on weather a beautiful song he composed for a film was not given a chance to win an award for best song. The up's and downs of a film composer. He is currently active at 69.[Well he will be in a day or so]

Compared to most professions film composers have not faced as much tragic early deaths as others in the entertainment industry, This might be attribute to the fact they don't travel as much as singers and performers. As we know a good chunk of the tragic deaths has resulted during transport.
