Am I the only one who wants Williams' DRACULA?

Sorry my question started a fight. Certainly was not my intent. Perhaps we can move on.

Blue skying it? How about shooting for Alpha Centauri with some of these!

Anyway, here's my Alpha Centauri list...

Alien 3 (Elliot Goldenthal)
All-Star Superman (Christopher Drake)
Atlantis: The Lost Empire (James Newton Howard)
Avatar (James Horner)
Batman Begins (Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard)
Batman & Robin (Elliot Goldenthal)
Batman: The Animated Series (Shirley Walker)
Superman: The Animated Series (Shirley Walker)
Batman Beyond (Shirley Walker)
Blade Runner (Vangelis)
Deep Blue Sea (Trevor Rabin)
Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (Elliot Goldenthal)
The Fly (Howard Shore)
Jurassic Park (John Williams)
Jurassic Park: The Lost World (John Williams)
Jurassic Park III (Don Davis)
The Keep (Tangerine Dream)
The Matrix Revolutions (Don Davis)
Mulan (Jerry Goldsmith)
The Rocketeer (James Horner)
The Secret of NIMH (Jerry Goldsmith)
Star Trek Into Darkness (Michael Giacchino)
Starship Troopers (Basil Poledouris)
Transformers (Steve Jablonsky)
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (Steve Jablonsky)
X-Men (Michael Kamen)
X-Men 3: The Last Stand (John Powell)

And last, but absolutely not least:
The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, Octopussy, A View to a Kill, Licence to Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day (along with any other conceivably expandable James Bond score, Never Say Never Again included...and put me down for that oft mused upon, fabled Moonraker rerecording as well)

All C&C unless I've noted otherwise...and I haven't.

I also like some of the suggestions I've seen from others, like Craig Armstrong's Love Actually and David Arnold's Last of the Dogmen. Definitely would pick those two up, along with any others that hadn't been on my mind.

Some of what would get me excited:

Obsession (Herrmann)
Endless Night (Herrmann)
The Bride Wore Black (expanded) (Herrmann)
Story of a Woman (Williams)
Dracula film tracks (Williams)
See No Evil (aka Blind Terror) (Elmer Bernstein) (maybe paired with the rejected score by Previn)
Resurrection (Jarre)
Doctors Wives (Elmer Bernstein)
Bloodbrothers (Elmer Bernstein)
Our Time (Michel Legrand) (paired with another Legrand)
The Betsy (John Barry) (paired with another Barry)
Touched by Love (John Barry)
Her Alibi (Georges Delerue) (maybe paired with another, like Celine)
Susan Slade (Steiner)
Soldier in the Rain (Henry Mancini)
Any and all 1960s Mancini film tracks (Arabesque, The Great Race, Dear Heart, Moment to Moment, Two for the Road, all of that stuff)

any rejected scores, especially those by John Barry, Elmer Bernstein, Jerry Goldsmith

None. So I can catch up with my backlog of scores to buy, and to have more time to listen to those I already have.

Darn it, add a complete Heat to my list. Although most of it has been released officially & unofficially, the cue at the end is a holy grail for me. And the film version of the actual cue 'Heat' has never been released, either.

Yeah, the album track 'Heat' sounds like a suite of the two opening cues (alternate versions, of course)

  • Starship Troopers by Basil Poledouris
  • Se7en by Howard Shore
  • Predator 2 by Alan Silvestri

Mulan's such a no-brainer. What a score that is in full.

It's nice to see Jaws and Jaws 2 on so many lists. Hopefully the 40th anniversary of the original can be recognized a little early and land this year.

Other than those two, I'd love to see Batman TAS Volume 3 from LLL and more Golden/Silver age from Kritzerland and Intrada. I'm ready for a great 2014.
