Clooney sure is hyping the 100 piece orchestra aspect of the score.

I hope to be thoroughly impressed.

And mercifully it's available on CD after two Desplat albums in a row that have been download-only.

I watched the various trailers available on YouTube and this one looks like a movie I am going to catch. I was so pleased to hear hat Desplat scored it. Wonderful cast too. I am a huge John Goodman and Bob Balaban fan and of course, Cate Blanchett.

I do like what I heard there, I think i shall pick this up with my Amazon refund (duplicate present). Very distantly reminded me of Chicken Run.

The samples remind me of the sound we used to get from Goldsmith and Bernstein and even John Williams...

When movies scores were good.

So good.

This kind of score, of course, needs that kind of film. That´s why so many scores today are not offering that kind of sound. All the more to treasure this one.

Reminds me of Chicken Run (which itself influenced by The Great Escape)

Something great, especially in this time of brwammmm.

On Desplat's side, i can hear some references from Rise of the guardians, and Harry Potter

Wow, what a delightful throwback score. Can see this one having a real chance at the Oscars next year...(not that that means jack, but it would still be nice)
