It does beg the question Quick, somebody call the grammar police! Seriously, though, I find it strange the amount of hostility leveled at Varèse lately. As if they don't want to get the product out promptly as much as we wish to receive it. The closer to film release it comes out, the more they're likely to get back from their investment. It's not like they twiddle their thumbs on these things just to stick it to impatient fans. The "f-you"s aimed at Varèse in the Super 8 thread and elsewhere have boggled my mind. I suppose none of those people have ever missed a deadline, bitten off more than they could chew or gone overbudget on anything. . . Since you quoted part of my comment, I can only assume you were directing that at me. Sorry for the bad grammar. And more importantly, sorry if I hurt your obvious fragile feelings. I was not posting hate posts towards Varese. I was merely asking the question, why not withhold from announcing a release date until they have a product finalized? Especially when its becoming more the norm than the exception to delay a soundtrack. La La Land doesn't do it. Intrada doesn't do it. And most authors and videogame publishers dont do it. Varese brings it all on themselves. This is not negative to Varese. I love the label. And I dont care if something is on time or late. I was just merely saying....in jest mind you, how its another delayed release. Sure sorry if I offended you.

No problem at all Marcus and James is right, the big thing is plot points and what the apes look like etc. I did just post a review on my other thread about the day and it's really all about the music which is what most of us want to hear. I wish I had Daniel Schweigers writing skills, but I hope you guys will enjoy it. I hope you see that I truly was a kid in a candy store. No Ape mask that day. That wold have been funny and I would have gotten a photo of that for sure.

Maybe this is why they announce it with set dates. If somebody is holding up art or music on the studio side, I can't really be mad at them for announcing it.
