I hope its x-files considering how long people have been waiting for that one. Plus MoH isn't supposed to be released until April or later.

See you back here next week when we announce our one and only title for March 15!

MV

Is this one a Biggie? :-)

Just one title could be the MOH box or X-Files box, since they're both expensive as two releases. I'm excited!

Its a 2 disc set. More next week

As for MOH we are looking at a March 29 or April 12 release date. We are waiting for final final final final final final final (get where I'm going here? wink ) sign off from legal on the artwork.

As for th Big X, early/mid May. We just got in all the artwork files (took longer than expected) and Mark Banning is working on the booklet now.

MOH box? As in Masters of Horror??? Say what?!

Medal of Honor. The video game series. Giacchino, Lennertz, and Djawadi.

Oh, ya tease! Heh.

(Though I do likes me some Djawadi)

MV, thank you SO MUCH for the MOH and X-Files update. It is greatly appreciated! And, the LLL Wikipedia page is updated! smile

I'm guessing the March 15th 2CD set is Jim Henson's Storytellers/Greek Myths by Rachel Portman... wink

PS the "soundtrack forum" link on your home page is still down...

That's why I love LLL SO MUCH! They give us time to find money. As for me - I'm afraid, if Intrada suddenly make any Barry release on March, 8 and on March, 15 LLL will make another Barry title (2cd - complete Kong?) too, and I have only 40$ on my card - so I should refuse one title frown
But with this pre-announcement I can plan my budget and stop worry.
ps But it will be funny, if no-one future Intrada/LLL release doesn't interest me smile

I just listened to "Copernicus' Star" for the first time this morning (it arrived in the mail yesterday) and I was completely blown away on my first listen of it. It is easily one of the best scores from 2009 and I can tell that I will be revisiting frequently over the next few days.

In short, if you were interested in the samples on La La Lands or Korzeniowski's website at all (even slightly), order this score IMMEDIATELY!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!

I agree, I just got mine in the mail today, and the first listen through left me with a big smile on my face. This CD will be getting listened to many, many times over the next year at least. And talk about pristine sound quality. Boy does it sound great! Thank you, La La Land! smile

Copernicus' Star is amazing. It reminds me very much of Horner's "Beautiful Mind."

That's what I was thinking! It didn't sound like plagiarism, but the style was similar

I had the same impression indeed. So I have one more reason to buy this CD!

I've listened to the Copernicus disc several times now and I'm very impressed. Excellent CD.
I particularly like the galliard-like parts towards the end.

I received the Copernicus' Star disc today, and what a great listen it is. Anyone who thinks film music is dead these days (which I would disagree with anyway) has to listen to this. It's fantastic. Thanks LLL for bringing this composer to my attention, and thanks Mr. Korzeniowski for this wonderful music. He really deserves a long career, with many different and interesting movies. I can't wait to listen to this over and over again, and discover every little detail.

Received MONEY TRAIN today. It's not bad; I don't think it's as good as SPEED 2, which is my favourite Mancina score, but I do like it.

Great score. I must say, I'm not the biggest action music lover, but I do like the way Mark writes his action music, well done Marky Mark!
