Every time someone wants me to join something, I think about it THREE, FOUR OR FIVE TIMES BEFORE I decide...and then say fuhgeddaboutit.[This message has been edited by Ron Pulliam (edited 03 July 2001).]

What is truly amazing is that I posted the reply above, and this thread did not move one place up from where it was.......I'm serious..... ...mainly about starting an A.I. thread... ...but also about the stagnation bit, too...

So, Ron...are you saying that you don't want to be in my AMWAY organization? http://www.filmscoremonthly.com/board/biggrin.gif">

THERE! That took it all the way to the top of the list!

It depends on the perks. Does your organization have a theatrical troupe?
Oh, yeah...and does having the same thought over and over and over and over and over again count?
Ron,you obviously have never been to an AMWAY meeting...it's theatre of the absurd from start to finish!
Sorta like a cult, huh!???
Well, now we're getting serious. I got suckered into AMWAY back in 1974, and stayed in for about five minutes. The very first meeting I attended scared the spit out of me! You hit the target with the word cult! The organization I was part of (briefly) was definitely very cult-like. I ran away quickly.

Would it be safe to say that you didn't think three, four or five times BEFORE you attended that meeting?

Definitely not. They must be different elementary thoughts, thus forming a chain of thoughts that cannot be reduced any more without losing information. NP: A.I. (John Williams)

Why is it when someone starts a thread about the most sensous "song" written for/used in a film, the preponderance of responses aren't "songs" at all, but merely themes???Do we have a communication problem or are songs considered to be something without words by different age groups?
Shouldn't you be discussing that topic over at the "sensuous song" thread? Excuse me, but THIS thread is all about thinking about threads. And AMWAY. Just those two things. Anything else goes to another thread. GOT THAT???
...oh, and cults.Thinking about threads, AMWAY and cults. Just those three things.

I forgot about counting.Thinking about threads, AMWAY, cults, and counting. Just those four things.
