That link in blocked in my country (U.S.A.), but this one works:
Thanks for solving a mystery I have been searching the answer to since I saw that friggin' commercial. A commercial, by the way, I still enjoy a lot (maybe we need a "Good TV Commercials" thread...).
It certainly is. Is that track available anywhere?
Sure: in a b**tleg .

Oh you had that too Alex USA Today was in a Suite that lasted some 11 minutes or so. Made up of 22 tracks of different arrangements and a bonus on the end of the My Sisters Keeper score, which probably no longer plays on a blue cdr. (Not that I purchased a copy you understand.
Wow! I had never heard 'One man and his bank' before, but the theme is lovely and it would be a walk in the park to transcribe and re-record! I can even offer to transcribe it for free myself . James Fitzpatrick, where are you?

These are the terrible things we are forced to do as Barry fans, always deprived of legitimate releases for rare scores . I wonder what the rights situation is for both USA Today and My Sisters Keeper? Certainly worse-sounding recordings have been released on CD, in case the masters are gone (gosh, I would SO much love a legit release of 'My Sister's Keeper'!).

Ahh the good old days when Movie Boulevard could get these scores out to fans, I believe I had My Sisters Keeper on a cassette tape done by them prior to its release on cd. Night Games was another from them, and I had an Out Of Africa sweat shirt.
Different strokes for different folks. IMO, 'My Sister's Keeper' contains a main theme with a very original harmonic progression to reflect the deep south environment of the movie. Add to that a kick-ass blues guitar source cue and a really lovely lyrical theme (check it out at the end credits), and you have a very good Barry score, certainly better than things like 'Jagged Edge' and 'Mike's Murder' (both already released on CD!). Jonathan Elias fans might also want to check out the penultimate track which describes the main character's 'flashback', because it is of one of the most eerie cues Barry wrote in his life, performed entirely on synths by Elias himself.

P.S.: It isn't my intention to change the subject of this thread, so feel free to ignore this post .
Wow. How i got to my age, scarfing up any John Barry I could find, without ever running across that documentary, I just don't know. That music! There's worse music and there's better music, but there's no music like John Barry when he's on.
Wow, that is beyond awesome. So much unreleased (lost?) music by a legendary composer. This one sounds pure Bond circa early 60s. Would kill for a CD of this. Or any of the commercials.
