I'm pretty sure we have some It's a Wonderful Life CDs, but I'm double checking.

I've been on the site and it says out of stock. I'd be hot to add that to my How Green Was My Valley+Counterfeit Traitor threefer.

It's officially sold out and has been for quite some time, but I hold back emergency copies for lost in mail or defective - that's what we have left - if you want it just order your two CDs (or however many) and then e-mail us at kritzerland at gmail dot com and mention you want Wonderful Life as your free title.

A good rule of thumb is that if there is a title you're interested in that's on Kritzerland, it's worth picking up. They always have consistently good sound and mastering (I very much like that their mono titles are in clean mono, no reverb added).

I and many other people missed out on that great release from Varese so it was kind of a godsend. I was afraid you might not know about it yourself. This is why you must prioritize the Rozsa Treasury -- prices on it may end up like this!
https://www.amazon.com/Bernard-Herrmann-Century-limited-boxed/dp/B006TIUVII

Yavar

The original $200 price tag is looking pretty reasonable compared to the $1299.99 on Amazon. That one penny short of $1300 really makes me want to get it. I wonder if the seller is a Varese employee.... wink

I was just writing Yavar when it came to me that I was forgetting two of Bernard's scores on the site: Jane Eyre and Snows of Kilimanjaro. I have the Naxos of each and find them kind of flat sounding. Anyone else have these?

I have Eyre also on isolated score track dvd, which I actually like better than the re-recording lol!

Got Jane Eyre for Christmas and absolutely love it. The sound is quite good and the music brilliant. I can't judge on Kilamonjaro yet as I do not own it.

Bruce -- you wont have a copy of Hangover Square left by chance?

Even though I have the Herrmann Box Set, I would like your reissue ..

And is there any chance of Kritzerland reissuing TWISTED NERVE?

No on Twisted Nerve, and I'm checking on Hangover Square.

Is Saint Joan completely gone—or by chance might a copy remain?

It's a pity for Adriano that his recordings for Naxos (including Jane Eyre and Rebecca) sound rather bland. From what I've read, he devoted a lot of energy and research into these projects but the end results are only mediocre in terms of recording quality. I suppose it's fair to say the performances are a bit inconsistent too.
I think the best CD of his is Auric's 'Beauty and the Beast'. The atmospheric sections in the castle are very well done. I think this is one of the top scores of all time, so you should definitely check it out, even if the need is still there for a finer recording.

Excellent! This actually pushed me from buying two titles to four. I couldn't find a place to leave instructions on PayPal so I just sent you an email with my free title requests. I have so much good music headed my way right now (including my first three Donaggios).
