As an old fan of the series, I gotta say I'm mighty jazzed. The trailer looks amazing and the made me smile like an idiot. I'm even more in than before.

I would love to see this, but I'm not shelling out for Netflix, anymore than I got on board with CBS All Access for the new Star Trek. Next there'd be something on Amazon, and who knows what other pay service. What would it cost me in the U.S. to have access to all the pay services with exclusive content? I imagine it would be nuts.

Well, I have Netflix, Hulu and Prime (Prime kinda doesn't count because we have it mostly for the 2 day shipping) and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than cable. Then for one or two months a year I get CBS.

Here is the main title: http://ew.com/tv/2018/04/04/netflix-lost-in-space-opening-credits/ Rousing theme, for sure, but a little all over the place? I also feel that the brief cameo of Williams' theme towards the end is buried under too much rambling percussion and flutes and whatnot. They could have cleaned that up a bit. Thor nailed this one. "To many notes". It just doesn't come together. There's no cohesion. Not fond of the graphics either, looks like they copied Star Trek: Enterprise opening. This is a sci fi fantasy, I don't need a visual history lesson on NASA. The Williams theme pops out. Should have reorchestrated it and forgotten about the rest. Memories of Horner's mediocre MAGNIFICENT 7 score, the best part of which was the appearance of Bernstein's original theme.

The CBS ALL Access thing is different as the ONLY content that is of any interest is Star Trek Discovery. Everything else at this point is all reruns and stuff I already have had on home video for years. Netflix has TONS of original and recent content and I'm always exploring and finding new shows to watch and movies I missed i ntheaters. I get a hell of a lot more for my money with Netflix than I ever would All Access. STD (oy) should have been a Netflix series in the states.
