Cool, thanks.

Definitely picking this up eventually. Hope it sticks around for a while.
I vividly recall watching this right when it hit VHS. I always got it mixed up with Hope and Glory.

These original elements on digital format has been used for this release?

Never liked HOOK OST. Sat on my shelf for 20 years unplayed. Then the expanded edition came out and now I love it. Same can be said of EOTS. Didn't care for the OST and sold it off years ago. Maybe the expanded edition will change my mind?

I trust there's more to this than one additional cue! Space could have been made for that on a single disc, since the original contains some repetition. Agree it's a very fine film and score. Wait and see.

Empire of the Sun is a Warner Brothers movie, not Universal.

There is no repeated material on the original OST.

This one?

http://www.amazon.com/Empire-Sun-Blu-ray-Christian-Bale/dp/B007KW5N9Y/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv&ie=UTF8&qid=1401293602&sr=1-1&keywords=empire+of+the+sun

I own this release and the blu ray plays fine. I'm in the US.

Excellent movie and with John Malkovich, who I can't stand, out of the film I would have liked it more.

The only Universal title LLL has ever released is 1941

And that was a co-production with Columbia, which the label's worked with multiple times (Used Cars, First Knight, Hook from sister company TriStar, Days Of Our Lives). They also did The Cape, which was from NBCUniversal (the copyright notice is to Universal).

Correction

1941 had nothing to do with Sony Pictures. It was a Sony Music and Universal release

And to state once again:

La-La Land Records has had 16 releases through NBCUNIVERSAL:

ALL the Battlestar Galactica cd releases - 7 thus far
Caprica - Mini Series and Series
The Cape
Identity Thief
1941
Love Happens
Saint Sinner
Grimm
Heroes

About 5% of our catalog has come out of NBCUNIVERSAL thus far. Hell, we wouldn't be in business without them! And, we have more to come!

I am just frustrated that's all.
And, i was referring to ALL the soundtrack labels which have released numerous Universal film soundtracks over the past few years.
God bless 'em all

Thus far? Anything concrete you wish to share? I won't tell anyone^.
I know Bear expressed interest in one day releasing more BSG music, but surely he's been too busy lately to work on that??

He's referring to:

1. the original pilot movie
2 - 5. Seasons 1 - 4
6. The Plan/Razor
7. Blood & Chrome
