Hopefully The Great Race OST will be one of them...& if I'm being greedy, a great looking Blu-ray too.

0-0 Delerue titles from American labels, just like 2013.

HER ALIBI from an american label is a possibility in 2014.

A rerelease of JOE VS THE VOLCANO could happen and we already know that an expanded version of THE FRENCH REVOLUTION is in the works and maybe a straight CD reissue of TOURS DU MONDE TOURS DU CIEL.

More Delerue is coming, without a doubt !

I have a prediction Intrada will OWN 2014, followed by Varese and its rebirth.

Kritzerland will dominate the Golden Oldies, while Music Box and Quartet will continue to surprise us all.

Perseverance and BSX will have their best year ever!

As for us...

MV

and what about La-la-land ?

steiner, rozsa, waxman ?

Realistic Predictions:

Intrada Records:
  • "Young Sherlock Holmes" 3CD
  • "The Flim-Flam Man" (the re-recordings; Varese holds the originals in perpetuity)

Roger at Intrada mentioned that Young Sherlock Holmes will be a 2-CD set, which is plenty.

Varese does not have perpetual rights to The Flim-Flam Man. You are probably referring to the original Flint recordings. Intrada will in fact be releasing the re-recordings.

Right. And they are *unlikely* to put out another reissue of Rio Conchos, especially since they reissued their excellent LSO re-recording of it this past year. I'd say that's a much more likely title to see from LLL, who've been making their way through several Goldsmith westerns in the past couple years. Heck, if they got Jim Titus to design the package and good liner notes I might even buy it again!

But if they were able to improve the sound on 100 Rifles that'd excite me even more (more of the stereo tracks salvaged perhaps, with the new technology that has allowed superior expanded presentations of a number of Fox scores lately?)

A couple of Jerry Fielding scores from Intrada and Quartet.

I predict "The Outlaw Josey Wales" from Intrada in 2014.

And from Quartet, a wish: "Junior Bonner", another wonderful Fielding/Peckinpah collaboration!

    Realistic Predictions:

    Intrada Records:
    "Spies Like Us" (Bernstein)

Is Spies Like Us not a Varese in-perpetuity title? I figured maybe we'd get an Encore edition of it one day, but I hope you're right. smile

It's Varese, but probably not in perpetuity. Film came out in 1985, and I believe their album predated the 90s at least. It was some time in 1989 that they started getting perpetuity rights as a general rule on all new releases. So the good news is that Intrada can probably tackle this one!
