I'd be happy if Aktuh and Maylota (with Michael Dorn vocal) from "Unification II" were included. I just love Klingon Opera.

I agree that it's epic! Data has "Lifeforms" on the Generations expanded release and "Blue Skies" on the upcoming Nemesis release. It's time for Worf to receive his due!

"Maylota! MAYLOOOOTA!!!!"

The Enterprise flying into the "sunset" from "A Fistful of Datas". A Piece discussed in the liner notes of the GNP Chattaway album, but not included.

In the previous set I was disappointed that from the set cues for the CONSPIRACY season 1 Episode by Dennis McCarthy- their was this terrific intense scoring when Worf and Geordi are racing to the Admirals room where is Riker is all knocked out. It had some terrific brass and electronic percussion. Just watching that episode last night on my blu ray of season one. I still think season 1-2 had the best scores -I mean I havent completely gone into other season but the season 1-2 were just amazing. Im so glad I have all the RON JONES scores.

So, MV it would be great if you could add that cue from CONSPIRACY and few others from this episode again. Please... and let it be another 3 disc set! You cant go wrong with that.

I enjoy McCarthy's ominous and brooding music, which sometimes had some unusual orchestration. Some examples I'd like to have:

The monious music from "The Mind's Eye", including the scene at the beginning where the Romulans are tryign to get Geordi to fire on O'Brian, and the subsequent firing. And the breif score throughout that builds quiet dread. Then of course the climax.

Then in "Future Imperfect" where Riker finally figures out there is no Romulan ploy and asks the kid to reveal what's going on.

I am with you on this one. I was disappointed by the omission of that music on the Conspiracy suite. I doubt that they would go back and do it for Vol 2 as it would be out of place. But you never know!

I'm not sure if this would be feasible...but could the piece of music that Jay Chattaway wrote for Star Trek The Experience "Klingon Encounter" be included? Even if it's an easter egg type cue... I'd love to hear that piece...always been fascinated by it every time I went on that ride when I lived in Las Vegas.

Second that. I think the entire Conspiracy score was excellent, especially the first half. I would also love to see this mentioned piece included, as well as the scene leading to the discovery of the destroyed Horatio plus the first scene after the opening credits.
In previous albums including the ones from GNP, there was a lot of McCarthy's slow, emotional and mysterious music and a few of the rather subtle action cues, and now I would love to hear a bit more of his more heavy action music with percussion and rhythm like this piece from Conspiracy, the Arsenal of Freedom action scenes etc. Nothing wrong with the previously released music, I just think there's been a lot of that and now it's time for some loud stuff :-). Thanks for considering.

The Wounded (McCarthy)
especially the beautiful cue where McCarthy quotes the melody of "The Minstrel Boy" after O'Brien sang the tune.

"Phantasms"
Dennis McCarthy

The short music cue right after Data ends his holodeck session with Dr. Freud.

The music leading up to Troi entering the turbolift and then being stabbed by Data.

And the closing cue with the plesant start, and build to a close which doesn't go to a large orchestral crescendo.

I'm having a hard time finding the episode name, so I can't pin down the composer (but I'm thinking it was Chattaway), but I recall and eisode with a man who had powers of some sort and at the end of the episode he evolved and turned into a being is shining light, gave some good-bye speech, then passed threw the ship's haul and wandered off into space.

The music was emotional and very plesant and had a simple yet beautiful crescendo as he left the Enterprise.

I think it is the episode "Transfigurations". The composer was Dennis McCarthy.

I just watched Peak Performance again & I agree with several other here that it would be good to have this episode represented in Volume 2.

There's a really terrific Chattaway cue at the end of "Eye of the Beholder" which a lot of people forget about, mostly because the episode is terrible. It underscores Troi panicking and almost killing herself.

For McCarthy, more of the season 1 and 2 music would be great, like "Arsenal of Freedom" and "Peak Performance." For Chattaway, some of "Power Play" and "The Game."

I guess we can leave Arsenal of Freedom off Vol 2 now. smile

It also looks like seeing as GNP is continuing to release Trek TV scores that they will cover other requests, such as Tin Man as they released that originally too.

It's interesting to see what GNP Crescendo has been doing with their back catalog! I am all for a remastered and expanded "Encounter at Farpoint", and it's great to see they took the opportunity to add on an extra episode score.

Thinking to what they will be doing in the future, I can only guess that they will remaster and reissue Deep Space Nine "The Emissary" and Voyager "The Caretaker." Each of these have missing material.

I am more curious on how they will address their TNG Volume 3 release which contains "Yesterday's Enterprise," "Hollow Pursuits" and "Unification." Will they add more cues to those existing suites? Will they even re-visit that album?

And what about Enterprise? The only CD for that series was released by Decca. Not sure how the rights would stand on that one... will La La Land get dibs on the music from the pilot and include on their forthcoming set?

I believe Enterprise is coming via LLL as they mentioned it before. I'd like to see them finish off TNG and start on Voyager before though.
