I don't see these horror sale titles listed anywhere on the site.

Its the very first thing on the front page as well as on the left side column

All I see is a $9.99 sale price for Trading Places on the left, and nothing at the top of the front page.

EDIT: Oh, I had to click "home page" on the linked page here to see them. Weird.

I actually didn't expect to order Day of the Dead right now because of some other stuff. But when the sample of "Heroes Escape" faded out right during my favorite part, I was compelled to whip out my credit card and order it right away. Haha!

I totally get your point on that. Other than the fact that I was buying this from the start, that clip fades just at the right moment...i.e. it teases you with one of the most uplifting and exciting musical moments of the film.

Very excited to order this...and Salem's Lot too? Wowzer.

And there is still one more cool 1980's horror score coming this month. It's a nice compliment to Salem's Lot. smile

Hope the title can be an expanded SILVER BULLET by Jay Chattaway.

Silver Bullet...I'd also considered that. Was there a lot of music missing from the Varese Club album?

Love that Silver Bullet poster by the way.

On Facebook, somebody asked for the cut-off number of signed Day of the Dead copies, and this was LLL's response:

"We will when we get near it. We have 400 this time! John was very generous!"

400! That's pretty cool. smile

I just ordered DAY OF THE DEAD and took advantage of the generous horror sale you guys are having. I'm happy to read that another horror score is on the way too. Keep up the great work La La Land and all involved.

Or how about Dan Wyman's excellent horror-score to HELL NIGHT (1981)!?

I'm honestly a bit surprised that this score still hasn't seen the light of day on CD, especially
since the mastertapes still exist in good condition.

I just wanted to chime in and say THANKS to MV and everyone at LLL for BLACK BEAUTY, surely one of the most beautiful film scores ever written, and perhaps even tied with The Nightmare Before Christmas in my estimation as Elfman's greatest achievement. This one amply deserved the reissue and expansion and I'll definitely be picking it up!

I really fail to see even why people like Yor who grumble about Elfman wouldn't love this score.

Couldn't muster the finances for an autographed copy of Day of the Dead, so I'll pick it up for the holidays most likely. Couldn't pass up Pino Donaggio's Seed of Chucky, though -- for only $7 shipped it'd be silly not to grab it.

Received my lot of carefully packaged discs today. Such amazing deals and a perfect time to give lesser known scores a shot. It's always nice to find something like this unexpectedly:

I'll probably go back for a few others before the sale is up. As always, thanks LLL.

Just arrived in the mail.

Alien Resurrection - the gold standard of awful movie with a terrific score.

If someone here has missed it, I highly recommend the score to THE HOLE, particularly if you enjoy Danny Elfman's style.

Personally, I like the film. My third-favorite of the series. I agree, though, terrific score.

If someone here has missed it, I highly recommend the score to THE HOLE, particularly if you enjoy Danny Elfman's style.

I've been contemplating that one. I've seen the film and really enjoyed it a lot, but just don't recall the music. I may have to try and give it another watch, to listen more closely to the score, before LLL's sale ends.

This week could have started off better for me....

I ordered the DAY OF THE DEAD soundtrack lback in Tuesday last week(oct 8) and today a parcel
from La-la Land Records arrived in the mail. However, to my utter disappoinment the contents of the parcel did not include the DOTD CD but instead the BLACK BEAUTY CD plus a signed DOTD booklet!

I sure hope you can send me the DOTD ost as soon as possible.

Received Day of the Dead today and it has been playing non stop! Love the mix on the film version, the score never sounded better. Great reminiscing by Romero and Harrison in the liner notes and always fun to discover new tidbits and info on the movie and score in the notes by Jeff Bond! Now back to devouring this release smile

Completed a third listen of Black Beauty and I think it's splendid. I'd go so far as to say this is the best I've heard from Elfman. I haven't heard the music with the film, only on this CD, but if I could have just one CD of Elfman, this might be it. Fine sound and presentation too. Top marks.
