With regard of the dress code, we went to Silvestri's Concert a couple of years ago, and we didn't see any t-shirts or jeans, only black suits and ties. Austrians are very conservative!

It usually starts in the morning (around 9 I think). Still no update on this year as far as I'm aware though. Getting in hasn't been a problem in the previous years - you sign up in advance (or just there at the entry point - I don't think they've ever run out of seats), pay a small admission fee (€10 I believe) and that's it.

I guess the afternoon programme will mostly be the recording session thingy. But I doubt it would really make sense to catch only the very end, especially when probably nobody knows when exactly it'll end.

What do you mean? This was never going to be an all-Horner concert. The second half traditionally belongs to the awardee, but the first half has works by various composers. If anything, the first part looks unusually short and "pop"-based this year. No Korngold, Steiner, Herrman, Rozsa...

In the last years there has always been an autograph session at apr. 15:00 during the symposium.
