Like Michael24 & Mastadge, I was rather wary about the project after reading the pitch, but liked what I saw; I don't remember , just thinking I iked it in aprts; I loathe the main title's song, however-- not exactly the song itself, but its use here: it doesn't fit at all (like the one for Enterprise).

Enterprise's theme song was fine, as lyrically it fit the context of the show.
But I agree, I didn't like the song used for Sleepy Hollow. I'm hoping it was just for the first episode, since pilot's usually don't have a traditional opening title sequence, and that starting with the second episode there will be a more proper title intro with something else.
Count me as another who enjoyed the premier. I didn't notice the music much, but some string sections did remind me of Columbus Circle. Here's hoping for some good themes to emerge throughout the first season run.
Funny, my mom mentioned the music last night. She said she liked it because at times it reminded her of the music for Elementary.
Also, as I suspected, the show now has a proper main title sequence, with various images and the lead actors, and it's own music. The song was only used for the pilot.

Most fortunately. I liked it, but found the main title a bit weak; maybe I need to hear it again; it might be more accurate to say that I didn't catch a memorable theme.
Sleepy Hollow became the first new show of the season to be picked up for a season 2. Season 1 is going to run only 13 episodes and they picked up another 13 episodes for season 2.
I'm glad it's 13 episodes. I much prefer seasons of 6, 7, 13 episodes to 24-season episodes that are padded with filler episodes, especially in this era of TV shows that reward binge-watching.
13 episodes isn't too bad, although I dislike that it makes the wait between seasons longer than usual. 6 or 7 episodes, though, is far too few for a season. I generally prefer full seasons, though. More stories to enjoy, and the wait between seasons is much shorter.
