It has to be Nemesis, because all star trek scores get locked once Star Trek 2 is released? This whole "lock" thing is being taken as gospel, and I believe it is anything but. It's based on a single piece of evidence that is more than fifteen years old -- that Paramount didn't want the expanded Sony "Motion Picture" CD released the same year as "First Contact." While that may have been true then, 1996 might as well have been a millennia ago in the media world. The CD market is completely different, the movie market is completely different, and I doubt that anybody who was at Paramount then remains there today. Besides, FSM's "Wrath of Khan" CD was released in 2009 -- the same year as the J.J. Abrams reboot movie. That would seem to be pretty clear evidence that this "lock," if it ever really existed, is a thing of the past, no?

This was Also confirmed to me recently by an industry insider. But whats to argue here? We ARE getting the goods altogether finally. Can you guess the number of TREK expansions this year...its unprecedented!!

If it is Nemesis, that would be great. But I would like to point out that the Trek score release schedule has ALOT to do with the upcoming film. Because once the months close in up until the new film's release, Paramount will put a freeze on certain Star Trek products so that the focus will be on the new film and even though its all Star Trek and all the products share the same name, they want no competition with the new movie. They want the focus to be only on the new film, for as long as they can. But...I may be wrong. I admit that. There are Always...Possiblities.

Just to clarify -- No "new" "older" Trek stuff until Nov of next year... that's why we are scrambling to get our TOS set out by year's end. Only "ST Into Darkness" merchandise in 2013. This is very common in Hollywood. We had to delay releases like X2 and Planet of the Apes (Elfman) to make way for the newer films that were released recently. As for DS9, its looking like we can release it very early January 2013 as long as we can get it all signed off on by the Holidays. MV

How about Secret Ways/Sugarland Express combo. Sounds good to me.
