The Collateral soundtrack has all the music from the film. The soundtrack only has four tracks by Howard and misses most of the scores from the final part of the film (Foxx running to the office building, Cruise stalking the offices)

Now that we are well into April of 2012 some things have changed and/or have been added to our release slate. Box sets: We do plan on having at least 2 more "box-sets" coming out this year (ala Friday the 13th and Medal of Honor). Two other 4 disc sets originally planned to be housed in "boxes" will no longer be housed in said boxes. FSM's recent Ben Hur looks great without one and so will these releases. We feel a "box set" should consist of more than just 4 cds. It should be something special -- an event release -- and when we have a concrete idea as to when these sets will be coming out we will let you know far in advance like we did with Friday the 13th. They will be pricey, so you should be able to get a heads up on saving your bucks. (PLEASE NOTE: This new 4 disc set policy does not apply to our upcoming X Files Volume 2. It will match Volume 1. As to when...well, the truth is out there) Other tidbits: Goldsmith will certainly be the flavor of the month. . . for several months. lol Williams will certainly be well represented as well. A few more Golden Age titles are in the works (with possibly more in 2013). Expect more westerns, tv music, video game music, "expansions", "virgin titles" and a few improved reissues as well. Our goal this year is to shed some focus on JNH, Hans and the late Mr. Kamen like we did with other LLL favs like Ms. Walker, Danny, Mr. Morris and David Arnold. Or, in English language form, "Oh, hells yeah!" LaLaLand absolutely effing rules, and the pending surprises mentioned make me love them all the more. X-Files Volume 2 is good enough, but endless possibilities on top of that are even better!

A LETHAL WEAPON box set would be super! As for other Kamen from that period, I am particularly fond of the edgy SUSPECT. The National Philharmonic performed Varese LP contained two suites -- it was somewhat bright yet pleasantly dynamic and on quality vinyl. A box set of the FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON mini-series scores, with Kamen’s title music and episodes, would be wonderful too! Cheers Chris

Heres my hopes :-) HOWARD- Wyatt Earp and or The Postman (WB) GOLDSMITH- The River Wild and The Shadow (Same set up as 1941 with the Sony Music and Universal Licencing???), Supergirl, Star Trek: TMP and or Congo (Sony) KAMEN-Last Action Hero (Sony), Lethal Weapon Quadrilogy (WB/Watertower) MANCINI - S.O.B I don't recall that there is much music in "SOB". As time went on, music was not a big part of Blake Edwards films. "Switch" had most of Mancini's music removed as well as "A Fine Mess", "Blind Date". There's probably a few more but those come to mind first.
