well may I express disappointment that VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA is a redux and not more from the TV series. I rarely play the FSM CD (that Frankie Avalon tune has to go)
Since I didn't care for the show, I don't recall much of the music to Space: Above and Beyond beyond the theme, but it's always nice to see more Shirley Walker music get released.
Not sure about VTTBOTS, I liked the show but I don't think I ever saw the movie that kicked it off. Can't remember if Channel 4 (UK) ever showed it or not.
I've never seen Space: Above & Beyond, but I love Walker, so how do these scores compare to her work on Batman: TAS and The Flash? Fully orchestral, melodic?

Someone post some samples, please! I am unfamiliar with said TV show, but LOVE Walker's Batman music. And Flash music.

MV Im relieved to hear this isn't Rage, the video-game just released. When saw lalaland doodle thought space above and beyond. Then saw Rage video-game commercial, similar ship, and I started screaming no no figuring has released video-game soundtracks before. Began to fear that too good too be true on space above and beyond. Glad to see not case
If the rest of the music is this good, then count me in!
Buddy, thats just the tip of the iceberg. The show's music only got better as it went on. And if you can find it, the show is a total knockout. A complete 10.
We thought we were alone. We believed the universe was ours. Until one night in 2063, on an Earth colony 16 light years away, they struck. And now we're at war. My name is Lieutenant Colonel T.C. McQueen. I'm an In-Vitro, a race of artificially gestated lifefoms. I command a Marine Corps Squadron; the 58th. They call us the Wild Cards. We fight when called. In space, on land, and at sea. To lose this war means more than defeat; to surrender is to never go home. All of us must rise to the call...Above and Beyond.
Oh, only less than 24 hours left before SA&B !!!
I'm waiting for its score release since the TV Series aired here on national broadcast, in 1996. The french title was 'Space 2063' (really !).
More Shirley Walker's work is always very welcome.
