If Money Train is half as good as Speed 2, It's a must have for me (Speed 2 remains one of my most-played CDs of 2010!)

Soundtrackcollector shows no bootlegs; Does anyone here know the score at all?

right... shame on you.. he came from Poland and you should have heard at least his magnificent score for A SINGLE MAN, which should have won the Oscar last year.

Lokutus is reading my mind today.

Yes, DMD, you need to go and seek out A SINGLE MAN as soon as possible. Without question my favorite score from the last few years.

Mike, A Single Man I thought Badelt did some music on it as well, did him and Abel both compose for it? I saw the score available on Badelt's site.

Really? I don't see it anywhere. There's something there called THE EXTRA MAN but it's not the same movie. Though the ASM soundtrack does feature a few cues by Shigeru Umebayashi.

I don't want to derail MV's thread with talk of other scores and youtube links, but seek out "Stillness of the Mind" and "Swimming" for a couple of particularly stunning cues.

I'm an idiot, that's it The Extra Man, not a Single Man, all these men are confusing me....hey I'll be here all week!

It's no surprise there's confusion: the last couple years have given us A SINGLE MAN, A SERIOUS MAN, SOLITARY MAN, and THE EXTRA MAN. Probably others I'm forgetting, too.

Wow, the samples to Copernicus Star are great! The track 'Prophecy' reminds me of Horner's use of vocals in A Beautiful Mind.

And also Bicentennial Man, don't you think ?

COPERNICUS STAR
MUSIC BY ABEL KORZENIOWSKI

Certainly sounds very interesting, that first sample (Front Titles) has a feeling of Batman (Elfman/Walker) and Harry Potter (Williams) to it. Interesting even my wife commented that the beginning sounded a bit like Harry Potter.

"A Single Man" is a work of art. Therefore, I will be purchasing "Copernicus Star" without bothering to listen to the sound clips.

MV,

I know you are going to dread this question I am going to ask, but I've got to ask. Will the X-Files still be released the 1st quarter of this year? I know Mr. Snow has been busy working on Blue Bloods. I just hope that he was able to finish up so it can be released. Sorry, but I have been very anxious about this release.

Never heard of Abel Korzeniowski, but I'm a fan now. Will definitely be buying COPERNICUS' STAR, and I just listened to the samples for BATTLE FOR TERRA -- wow! Sounds amazing!

Might pick up the Mancina. SPEED 2 was one of my favourite purchases for last year.

I'm definitely going to order Copernicus' Star by Abel Korzeniowski. I suspect this title to be sold within a short time so if you have any interest in this - order it on 1st March.

MV, please give us Battle For Terra !

I'll be picking up both -

Speed 2 I picked up as a blind buy last year and was one of the highlights of the year for discoveries with me.

Sound clips for the other one seem very strong as well.

Seeing some buzz about this release on other forums too, so I wouldn't be surprised for a sell out (though don't hold me to that!). And if it does - that leaves only good things for future releases of its kind I imagine!
