I've yet to see this film, nor have I heard the score before, but judging by Poledouris' track record with this sort of genre, and the samples, it's now a must buy for me.

Its a great score. Really works well as an extension of Conan without copying it.

This caps off the year quite nicely for me. First Intrada gave us ROBOCOP, then Tadlow gave us the complete CONAN THE BARBARIAN, and now Intrada has given us FLESH & BLOOD.

The mind reels at the thought of what 2011 will bring...

*Sigh*...

As someone who was disappointed by both the sequencing (additional cues after the Varese Club arrangement) and sound quality of the extra music on the Prometheus CD, I'll likely grab this before it's gone. smile Superb score.

Anyone who does not purchase this is mad.

Agreed! Third time is the charm.

Cheers!

Of course this is a no-brainer for me. ORDERED!

I'm quite happy to have this re-release, as I have never owned the Varese nor the Prometheus discs.

At a mere 2000 copies, however, I can only hope it lingers around for a little while, to ensure everyone who wants one can get one.

I'm wondering if I should order now: I love every Poledouris I've heard, but funds aren't the best. Then again, how fast will a 2000-copy Flesh+Blood move? If folks seem to think this is a fast sell-out, I'll go ahead and grab one.

GET IT. NOW.

I don't need this or want this.

(Hoping reverse psychology and group mentality will keep others away until I have some extra cash!)

Well this leaves me in a state of ambivalence...

1. Remastered complete Poledouris from Intrada? Hell yeah, my favorite composer done justice!

2. Flesh+Blood? Crap, I just bought the Prometheus for like 50 dollars mad

Ah, well, I will have to get this, maybe I can sell my Prometheus... though I'll prpbably not get anywhere near 50 bucks for it now... roll eyes

I've owned a foreign pressing of the Varese edition for year, not knowing whether it was a "shoefoot" or not, as it was paired with Cherry 2000, but regardless, this is simply a stellar Poledouris score and a marvelous score in its own right. Probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite score from Basil, along with CONAN, ROBOCOP and FAREWELL TO THE KING. Maddeningly memorable.

There is no way in hell Intrada can make me double-dip on this...

...because I never owned any of the earlier releases! Happily ordered!
