Just listening Citizen X (Varese) and it is a surprise, since nobody mentioned this score in the thread and the reviews aren't specially good. It contains a beautiful and sad main theme very well developed along the CD. This theme in some moments remember me the one created by James Newton Howard for I am legend. Good stuff by Mr. Edelman.

MACGYVER. It's a memorable theme, and the music doesn't pretend to be anything else but cheap and cheerful synthetic pop.

Not the biggest Edelman fan, but he has some good ones. My favourite composition of his is the MACGYVER theme. I also like LAST OF THE MOHICANS, GETTYSBURG, TALL TALE and DRAGONHEART. What about Daylight, Come See The Paradise, The Indian In The Cupboard and The Mask? Great scores all.

A lot of Edelman's music sounds very cheap to me, but DragonHeart is my favorite by about a mile, and I really hope someone produces a complete release for it one of these days because the existing album is annoying as hell, with music all out of order (and cues combined so it's impossible to put it in order as well) and some music (ie. the finale) repeated, which really robs it of its impact! In addition there's some good music missing... The finale with the humming chorus is just incredibly brilliant, I must say -- actually made me tear up in the film. Yavar

I enjoy "Come see the paradise" and "Kindergartencop" the most, then "Ghostbusters 2" and "Dragonheart". And I think he wrote two of the greatest themes which never got developed for their whole scores as much as they should have been: the main theme for "Dragon" (which was used in countless 90´s trailers as well) and the "Into the mist"-track for "Six Days, Seven Nights" (which was such a majestic and lush melody I wanted it to appear throughout the score - but at least on the CD release it was all too scarce.)

I don't think anyone has mentioned Dragon the Bruce Lee Story. Some good stuff. Also Leap Year is quite nice and surprisingly 'oirish' sounding .
