The Joker is funny when he gets mad. Unlike Lehah. I want LeHah to post his review. You summoned him!

I think Christian Bale is an amazing actor, but he wasn't handed any big scenes in this. Even his personal suffering seemed muted, and I found zero chemistry between him and Rachel. The acting kudos go to secondary roles. Freeman and Caine were just fine, and I thought Eckhart and Ledger were great and had more complex roles than Bale. I was also intrigued by the moral conundrums presented in this movie, and how the movie challenged rigid notions of black vs. white or good vs. evil choices. It is the kind of movie that would benefit from several viewings. The positioning of Bale throughout the script is my main problem with the film too. The other characters make it more than interesting, but in a sense it's the same problem those old Michael Keaton films had. Not enough of the man at the heart of it...

PG-13 my ass. I had the oddest feeling reading Bob Kane's credit at the end. And pardon me, but weren't there attractive women in this kind of movie, once upon a time?

I write intelligently, unlike you. Well I have a pretty good feeling that of the two of us, I sleep better at night! So take that!

I haven't seen it yet, but do any of you think Heath should get an Oscar nomination? and/or win? Just curious!
