Friday Night Meet & Greet

As part of the 9th Annual Fans Of Film Music weekend, Christopher Young has again opened up his beautiful home and will be hosting our Friday Night Meet & Greet (Aug. 24). If you've registered for Fans Of Film Music 9 you are good to come to the party! We'll send you all the info for this party and the entire weekend closer to the dates via email.
Do you have something for him to sign, bring it along. You must RSVP if you want to come, eter@fansoffilmmusic.com">peter@fansoffilmmusic.com. Light snacks, soda and limited alcohol beverages will be provided. If you can't come to the actual Fans Of Film Music event, the next day Aug. 25th, but can come to this, that's fine as well, email us.

We did this, I think like 6 or 7 years ago and it was quite fun. A few composers showed up as well. One guy traveled all the way from Australia that year to attend the party and the event that year. That is film music dedication that's for sure

Christopher Young is very generous to offer his lovely home for that gathering.
Based on my experience the last time he did this, I would suggest that you remind those attending that they are guests in this home and as such should treat it with care and respect. I couldn't believe how many people left their trash all over, leaving beer cans on the surface of antique furniture and such. I spend a large part of the evening cleaning up after everyone. Very disrespectful.

You should have seen his studio last week after his party. Cans, bottles, plates etc. everywhere and those were all invited guests, close personal friends and some of Chris’s own family. As with any party there is always clean-up afterwords even if you invite many of your closest friends. And thank you James for helping with some of the clean-up. You made all our work later that night and the next day less. Should be a fun time none the less!

Met Chris Young at the London meet up last September. Extraordinary man, lots of entertaining anecdotes and spent time chatting with everyone and, of course a great composer.
