Certainly one of his most popular scores...I would think that Varese probably controls that in perpetuity, though maybe it's one of the few post-1989 things they don't? How many discs do you think it would take?
Whoa...that would be great. And Ford also works with Don Davis (Warriors of Virtue, the recent Hyperspace expansion) so maybe a set of both composers' BatB work?
"The Mists of Avalon" also plowed through two other composer's scores before settling on Holdridge (one of then Brad Fiedel). Just those three scores could be enough to be considered a boxset. If they were included.
My first time ordering at buysoundtrax.com. Why is so damn difficult to get my order through to them. If SAE won't distribute this title, I'll just have to pass on it.
Looks like a great CD. I've been a Lee Holdridge fan since the mid 1970s. Such a gift for melody. I too noticed Volume 1 ..... hope many more volumes will follow.

If you love beautiful music ,this is definitely the one to get. I couldn't believe that this thread has sunk down to page 7. Lee Holdridge is a master of melody. I hope there will be many more volumes of his works coming from Dragon's Domain. My first purchase from Dragon's Domain and it's a winner.

Ford, any chance for MUSTANG COUNTRY?
That would make a good Volume 2, PFK.
I'd buy a release of Mustang Country with a 'whoop and a holler'!
This would have been in my last order from Intrada, but I didn't want it to delay the other titles I knew were already in stock. Good to know it's finally out there. It will deffo be part of my next order. I will be sure to comment on it then (I've probably already chatted about 10th Man in its own thread, from the promo release).

With only 500 copies, you might want to order it now. Looks like the promo is 4 minutes longer. Was the promo in film order? Did it have unused cues?
I assume this is a single disc since there's only one runtime shown, and it's under 80 minutes. When trying to order from Buysoundtrax, the shipping option displayed is for "3-5 cds." Was it simpler to eliminate rather than increase the charge for "1-3 cds" in order to keep up with rising postal charges?
Anyone got this yet? (apart from cody) I delayed my copy last time (with Intrada) cos it wasn't in stock and they ain't got it again now. Not many European stockists have it either!
