The fan request thread from early last year included many requests for the unreleased music from DS9's "Sacrifice of Angels," which was not included in the latest release for some reason, so I would again add my voice to those requesting that unreleased music!
From Enterprise: the climactic battle music from Azati Prime. I'm gonna ask for this until I get it or I'm dead. Why this was left off the other releases still boggles my mind.
The intro music to Terra Prime was also a great bit of dramatic scoring.
DS9: all of the action scoring from the War Arc was was unreleased would be amazing.
Agreed with the Enterprise music. I too am irritated that the battle music from Azati Prime was nixed from BOTH releases.
When I produced the Star Trek 50th Anniversary Collection for La La Land, I went through an earlier thread of suggestions and tried my best to include requested pieces.
A few things I learned:
1) Advertising music is fun to track down and include, but extremely difficult—very time-consuming to locate and expensive to license. I don't see us doing it again.
2) The suggestions are most helpful when they are specific and limited. Practically speaking, we're not going to include a complete episode score from anything at this late point—there just isn't the space and the interest. So saying "the entire score to XXXX!!!" is helpful in that it identifies a wanted episode...but not helpful in we're still going to have to pick excerpts.
3) The posts with specific timecodes (from Netflix broadcasts) or descriptions are the MOST helpful. That way, a human being (for the 50th, it was ME) can go through and actually audition the possibilities.
4) Less is more: A list of eight cues or passages per episode is still going to have to be reduced. When there's a post listening a few key episodes and a few (or 1 or 2) cues per score, it makes me take the suggestions more seriously than a post that seems to be indiscriminately asking for everything.
My music request is for the following episode of The Next Generation
Season 4, Episode 22:Half a Life (with Netflix timecodes included) 38:28 - 40:06 "I Love you, But I am Ashamed." 41:52 - 42:58 Not the Person to lead the revolt 43:49 - 44:36 Causing no Trouble
The music from this episode is the most beautiful Dennis McCarthy composed for the whole entirety of TNG (or even his whole body of work from Star Trek).
Keep up the good work LLL. Thank you for providing is with wonderful ST music that has been unavailable for so many years. The fact that you'll be releasing a Leftover Album and taking the time to listen to us, the fans, is a true labor of love. And that is very much appreciated!!
This is the list I posted to the initial fan requests thread, minus everything that was included on DS9 Volume 2. There was a lot of stuff that I asked for that was included, which was awesome, but it would be incredibly disappointing to see the final box set not include the cue from Way of the Warrior and the remaining cues from Sacrifice of Angels.
* It's tough to be disappointed in the face of so much music that I thought would never see the light of day. I'm very grateful to La La Land for releasing these sets, I really do treasure them.
DS9 S04E01 - Way of the Warrior 1:04:09 - 1:08:12: Rescuing the Council
DS9 S05E12 - The Begotten 11:59 - 13:50: Odo introduces himself to the baby changeling 29:52 - 30:30: The baby shows Odo his face 38:00 - 41:42: Kirayoshi born, changeling dies, Odo takes flight
DS9 S06E04 - Behind the Lines 39:11 - 42:27: Rom betrayed; Defiant successful
DS9 S06E06 - Sacrifice of Angels 11:57 - 13:50 : the Federation fleet engages the Dominion fleet 23:09 - 28:22 : Quark and Ziyal free Kira and Rom, Odo saves Kira and Rom 31:33 - 35:54 : Sisko faces the Prophets, pleads for their help 41:45 - 44:15 : DS9 retaken, Sisko and Dukat (Ds9 disc 3, track 13 ends just before this)
I wholeheartedly agree with this recommendation. This is my most-coveted DS9 cue that hasn't been released. As soon as I saw the episode, I instantly dreamed of having it on disc.
The only other unreleased cue that springs to mind is...
Voyager - "Deadlock" (Season 2) The music for the finale when Harry takes the Wildman baby to the other Voyager is tremendous.
Thanks for all these great releases, Lukas. And thanks for reading our recommendations. You're the best!

Thank you, Wedge! This list matches up with my top requests as well, with emphasis being placed on the "Sacrifice of Angels" music, as that is my #1 desire for any future sets just as it was my #1 desire for the recently released DS9 set.
Here's a couple of melodic McCarthy recommendations. I always felt he did his best work on terrible episodes, just because the music had to put in more work.
Meridian: (Dax and love affair of the week hanging out) 18:50-23:20
Fascination: (The wild and crazy party) 35:30-41:00
What's the stance on including sound effects? Are sound effects totally out of the realm of possibility for a future Star Trek release? I just don't want to waste time and space if that's not going to happen like the advertising music. I've been spoiled rotten by various Star Trek soundtracks including bits and pieces of sound design (Like the Genesis Project from the expanded TWOK soundtrack).
P.S. I believe Alan Howarth created that Warp Speed/Plasma Bolt Incoming sound effect!
Obviously, no reason my preference should trump Jeyl's. But I have absolutely no interest in listening to sound effects, and since four CDs have finite capacity, for me personally it would be a shame to take up space with them.
From Enterprise: the climactic battle music from Azati Prime. I'm gonna ask for this until I get it or I'm dead. Why this was left off the other releases still boggles my mind.
Yeah, a lot of my favorite Enterprise Chattaway cues got the shaft. The alien invasion cue, torture, and final battle cues from "Anomaly", pretty much all of "Azati Prime." "Zero Hour" had its most important segment released but there's a cue just before it (about five minutes long) that's also great.
Since you're askin'; I would also like to have some Original Series cues presented as originally heard. Some sues are cross-faded in the box set or have overlays to replicate the episode edits, but it's inconsistent. Some episodes have them as they were originally composed.
The Doomsday Machine: "One's Enough" with the sustain without the exit music.
The Cage: "Monster Illusion" and "Monster Fight" separate.
Where No Man Has Gone Before: "Force Field" "Silver Orbs" separate.
Catspaw: "Starship/Captain Kirk" without the drum stinger overlay when Jackson tumbles. The stinger is not presented on its own anywhere in the set but was used in more than one episode. And the "Captain Kirk" cue was used without the overlay more often in the episodes.
Amok Time: "The Ancient Combat / 2nd Kroykah" separate

It's not like I'm asking for some random zaps or swooshes be thrown around at random. I just have a particular interest in hearing that Warp Drive/Plasma Bolt Incoming effect in it's full glory.
And before you write it off as just a simple sound effect, I think you should consider it's importance to Star Trek in general. In a theatrical sense, It was used throughout the entirety of the first theatrical teaser trailer for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. So the first thing that movie audiences got to see anything about Star Trek was also the first thing they would hear. No music. Just one long sound effect that builds up in so many different ways until we finally get to the title. Or how about when we hear it in the movie itself? Even the filmmakers allowed the track to run on it's own (with Sulu's warp number build up) than using music that was composed and conducted to go over it! That's got to be worth some presentational value equal to Craig Huxley's Project Genesis track.
And before you write it off as just a simple sound effect, I think you should consider it's importance to Star Trek in general.
Jeyl, I hope you didn't take offense at my post. It's simply a matter of what I want to listen to. And I, personally, don't care to listen to sound effects, no matter how important.

I'm pretty sure that that sequence in on Alan Howarth's CD.
