Farber did a superb job of recreating the "Trek" music sound and his themes for the final two part episode are excellent and well worth a listen to in isolation. The man is extremely talented and if studio executives in Hollywood gave a real damn about music in their films these days he'd be working non-stop at one of the studios.

Thank you very much indeed. Please tell the studio execs now, as I have very little writing work for 2018. Seriously, I will give a very generous commission, kick-back, and/or finders fee to anyone who can hook me up with a scoring assignment.

Andy...I have written to you before via email and we had a very pleasant exchange of views. I believe you to be one of the remaining classically-educated composers in Hollywood these days and one who can beat the pants off a number of so-called "composers" who are currently getting big bucks out of studios for creating "soundscapes" rather than actual themes.

The problem you and the other truly talented composers face is the idiotic twits in charge of procuring composers for Hollywood films these days...that and the fact that tv shows must be trimmed back to allow for the maximum number of commercials so much that they rarely have any true music themes. If I was an exec. I'd hire you in a heartbeat and keep you on a good retainer but I am a nobody, unfortunately for you. You will eventually be very busy in Hollywood Andy...I feel very sure of that.
