Close Encounters seems more likely than Towering Inferno, if a Williams is included in this batch at all. We haven't heard any word about a master being approved for the latter but we have for the former...

And for Goldsmith, 100 Rifles seems equally likely as The Swarm, as we know LLL is working on both.

I'm sure LLL is doing their best to have the Buffy set out this year for the anniversary. I expect additional Star Trek sets will be done when they are done. They seem to sell decently well no matter what part of the year they come out...

My one and only wish:

Apollo 13 - Complete James Horner Score with NO dialog

I could then die and go to heaven a happy man......

I am not good at guesses and I will never try.

Would Legends of the Fall be a LLL title? If so, that would be a instant buy for me.

Besides Close Encounters, my whish list (even if unlikely)

Alien 3 (complete) - if proper masters survives and Goldenthal allows it...
Batman & Robin - If the rights issues can be fixed...
Psycho III (complete) - if Intrada is not working on it...
Licence to Kill (complete) - But if not possible (EON, James Bond...) Robin Hood would be great

Whether it's part of the annual Black Friday batch or not, the forthcoming CE3K, in Mike Matessino's hands will be well worth the wait for us Williams fans, as will THE TOWERING INFERNO which I believe I read somewhere, perhaps on this board, was now pushed back to sometime in 2018. Good things eventually come for those who wait!

My wish, an expanded animated title from Horner, Zimmer or Silvestri. Eagerly awaiting CEOT3K.

When do these titles ship out again? The 28th?

Some of this is likely wishful thinking, but here are my predictions:

- I bet we get at least one John Williams score, like Close Encounters or Harry Potter, possibly as a collection in the case of the latter.
- I bet we get at least one Horner score. It could be live action like Titanic, Apollo 13 or Willow; or it could be animated like The Land Before Time or An American Tail.
- I bet we get at least one other live action franchise score, like Jurassic Park 3 or the first X-Men. There are a number of DreamWorks animation scores I'd be delighted to see instead as well.
- If not a box set, I bet we get a 3-4 disc collection of some kind. If not for Harry Potter or some other movie franchise, it could well be for a TV series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

And of course all of these great titles will come out and I freak out and buy them quickly just in case they all get sold out that week. This is the soundtrack collectors version of Black Friday splurge madness. Who needs lines with crazy people killing each other for that toaster?

The plan is to have all the titles in stock and ready to ship on Nov 28th so we don't go through the madness of the last few months. Fingers crossed titles arrive safely and with no issues.

Another wish list:

- Reincarnation of Peter Proud (duh)

- Night Of The Hunter (I know, I know...it's a WISH list)
- The Shining...a definitive LaLaLand release of this would sell huge
- Shamus...what?!? they discovered mint condition original masters?!?...in stereo?!??

I'll be utterly disappointed if these titles are not part of LLL's Black Friday batch:

Close Encounters of the Third Kind
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Top Gun

Other possibilities include at least one Goldsmith title since his music is sadly missing from last year BF batch. Might also see another Star Trek title-DS9 volume 2, Police Academy 2 and a Harry Potter score.

The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies are coming, finally! One can dream anyways lol. Pretty sure there was rights issues wjth these scores, can anyone confirm or deny?

LLL always rocks the Black Friday releases, anxious to see what they bring.

MV, once you have your final batch confirmed, will you as per previous years outline the prices and whether the title will be a 2 disc set etc?

I think there was at some point, but a few months ago MV[b/] said he had lunch with John Du Prez, so...

MV, can you clear up how to spell his name? I've seen it three ways now and I want to know from him how his name really goes:

John Du Prez
John DePrez
John Duprez
