Highlander

more Fielding, more expanded Goldenthal, particularly Sphere

also would love a C&C War of the Worlds by Williams, although this seems to me to be unlikely to happen, as there are many of his more celebrated works seemingly long overdue for expansion/remastering. is that fair to say? or might i be pleasantly surprised?

i'm not too sure, all I know is i like all of the music on the cd, but the track order really bothers me, it kind of undermines the whole build up of tension in the music, and the emotion that comes out of it. For me The Intersection Scene needs to come out of nowhere, that's why it works so well.

Since we're all blue skying this , I'll go ahead and add my usual suspects:

*Love, Actually - Craig Armstrong's gorgeous score needs a release. Come on, people !

The Keep - Tangerine Dream - either the actual film score or a very faithful rerecording like BSX's Blade Runner / The Thing / Assault On Precinct 13 ... but NOT like their re-imagining of TD's Legend big grin

While we're at it, TD's complete Legend score. And a good 2 or 3 CD sampler of TD's unreleased scores ( Red Heat, City Of Darkness, The Soldier, etc )

* Grand Theft Auto V - the actual in game Tangerine Dream score, not the remixed nightmare officially released big grin
* The Rocketeer complete score
* Goldsmith's Lionheart The Deluxe Edition ( just combine both discs in one, omit "The Future", add new in depth notes and artwork.
* Air Force One - complete score, or a good 70-80 minute presentation, including McNeely's fantastic cues.
* SpiderMan 3 - a nice 70 minute CD of Young's fantastic score. After Horner's Amazing Spiderman, my 2nd fave Spidey score
* Judge Dredd , expanded or complete - Silvestri

Jerry Goldsmith's THE LIST OF ADRIAN MESSENGER

Jerry Goldsmith's UNDER FIRE ( original film tracks )

Maurice Jarre's RESSURECTION

David Whitaker's DOCTOR JECKYL AND SISTER HYDE

Ron Goodwin's ONE OF OUR DINOSAURS IS MISSING ( and any Morecombe & Wise, Norman Wisdom etc scores, unlikely though that is )

Michael Kamen & Queen's HIGHLANDER

That's easy -- anything previously unreleased by Williams, Elfman and Goldenthal (and when I say previously unreleased, I mean NO release at all....I have zero interest in expansions)! smile

Still too many from my '13 list lol.

Horner: Rocketeer, Willow (expanded), well for Red Heat I posted this b/f I think maybe the sdtk is complete but perhaps have the opening/closing credits w/o the chorus (just instrumental) as bonus tracks?

Poledouris: Well most of them are Varese releases. But I missed out on Switchback

Kiner/Arnold: Wing Commander (love that bombastic score/over 35min of unreleased music)

Arnold: Last of the Dogmen (short sdtk)

Silvestri: A few Varese releases, Judge Dredd

Jones: Dark City (expanded)

Joel Goldsmith: Stargate SG-1, Universe

Eidelman: Meteor Man

Zimmer: Crimson Tide

Still love those mid 80's G.I. Joe/Transformers TV scores.

smile
