Oh good god....more titles. I'll probably have to place an order through my dear friend Peter Kelly if there's anything I want. Will have to wait to pay for it next month.

One good thing about not being able to get anything like this at once; they tend to hang around longer than they used to...

Is it a probability that one of the releases will be a recording of one (or more) of their concerts?
Anyone know if any or all of them were recorded, or filmed?

I love the suggestion that Starship Troopers is one of the titles. As I understand it, the original release was very expensive because of there being two orchestras used. Would the release of this title as a limited edition under the limited edition rules remove this financial problem, or is it just a pipe dream to ever see this one expanded?

will there be any Encore releases?? Or are they not considered part of the Club releases?

it could be a Rozsa set. But I have a feeling it just might be Bernstein's THE TEN COMMANDMENTS mega box set. I hope they also get to wrap up with STAR TREK NEMESIS deluxe editon too!

Looking forward to this batch of black and red spines!

After LLL's Lethal Weapon & Superman Returns, which I ordered, this (and Quartet) pre-announcement sounds like hit below belt (
Hope they both will release only 1 title in which I'll have interest. And what if they will release more than 1 great title?!

Well they certainly combined them before. As I said in the other thread, I wouldn't be surprised if The Abyss were an Encore rather than an expanded club release.

Wow. Thought it was over. Hope it is more than just the concert CDs that were mentioned and we have a juicy DE in or two. Great news!

I don't like to speculate about titles, but good news about the Varese Club! Here's hoping for a PREMIERE release of a previously unreleased score rather than an expansion of anything.

I thought the club was dead? wink Anyway, curious and I hope there will be one or two titles I dig. Make it so indeed!

Love the idea of a new batch by Varese.

Although I fear that it can only be an afterthought to La-la-land´s glorious gift at this year´s end.

What I´m hoping for:

STAR TREK - NEMESIS (complete and remastered)... because I´m a terrible completist.

STAR TREK - INTO DARKNESS (complete)... because see above.

DRACULA (complete and remastered)... because this score really deserves this treatment.

THE SECRET OF NIMH (complete and remastered)... because - see "Dracula".

LIONHEART (complete and remastered)... because - see "Dracula".

PSYCHO II (complete and remastered)... because I really, really, really LOVE THIS SCORE - and see "Dracula".

I would love some expanded John Powell, personally!

Bourne Identity, Bourne Supremacy, I am Sam, Paycheck, Italian Job, Green Zone, Hancock, etc. That would be great!

I am hoping for many re-releases that I already have, but it will probably include THE TEN COMMANDMENTS with 3 discs of theme variations performed by each orchestra that had a concert with Varese this year.
