What nothing on "The Bionic Woman," two parter, "The Return of the Bionic Woman" two parter, and the "The Secret of Bigfoot" two parter. Now that was some great music, and I loved Jaime's love theme, especially Lee's singing of it.

Is there any love for Lee Major's "Sweet Jamie," song?

Lukas' liner notes to this awesome 2006 FSM release had some great detail about Oliver Nelson's career, along with Nelson's terrific score to "Zigzag," Fielding's "The Super Cops" and standards sung by Anita O'Day:

The a gorgeous piece at the end of the William Shatner episode "Burning Bright" that I love. I don't know if anyone has posted it anywhere but it's at the very end of the episode. Beautiful!

"The Bionic Woman" is my favorite SMDM score by far. And yeah, I'll admit to liking the song.

Is the masters are forever gone, is there any chance a Six Million Dollar Man score album can be reconstructed like a certain fan of the Airwolf fan did. He "homemade" two soundtrack albums with a great deal of energy and effort.

Still missed one of my favorite cues from the show though.

I would have thought that if TSMDM wasn't do-able in some form, we'd have heard by now. Personally, I can't recall ever hearing that a release was not possible. But I'd imagine it's a big job. Oliver Nelson (and later J.J. Johnson) did some great scores, but I'm not sure I'd want every note they recorded. And even with cross-over interest from jazz fans, I wonder if actual sales would match what everyone believes would be a sure-fire seller?

And there was some mediocre music too - I watched one of the later episodes the other night scored by Richard Clements and I couldn't imagine a more characterless and forgettable score.

Only the first three seasons under Oliver Nelson are worthwhile, the last two seasons were a caricature of once good show.
