Thanks Stefan I'm really looking forward to hearing that one it sounds good to me and I really enjoyed L'uomo Che Ride and have wondered how much more music could there be missing from what was released.

Piccioni actually recorded 1+ hour of music for L'Uomo Che Ride. I am unsure why they just released a short suite when the could have made a 2 CD set. I am also unsure, however, how many different themes are in the complete score (compared to alternates).
The CELLINI segment is a pleasant surprise and the main draw here for me.
As a huge Piccioni fan and collector, I found this album to be a huge disappointment. I'm not a fan of the composer in this chamber-ish mode. This is one of the dullest Piccioni albums I've listened to. For completists only.
I'm glad BEAT is still going with the Piccioni works.
I don't know anything about Fratello Mare.
Neither do I know much of anything about Belle ma povere ("Pretty, but poor"), but this one's going to come via Digitmovies:
With this title, we'll get more 'Golden Age' Piccioni (or Piero Morgan ).
Being from 1957, Belle ma povere is one of the earliest Piccioni recordings to receive an album unto itself (that is, not a compilation album such as Legend's Guendalina disc)...
SENILITA' is not a reissuue, as the former CAM CD had a duration of only 30 minutes. This CD now has the complete score: "For this CD with a total time of 72:18 it was possible to use , in addition to the master tape of the original album , the master tapes of the mono recording sessions that have uncovered about 42 minutes of unreleased material."
As to why only 300 copies:The market for such scores is very small. You won't sell 500 copies for this new SENILITA' CD.
Well I'll want Senalita. I have the CAM, but the new mono addition is greatly appreciated.
Me, too. I want this upcoming edition of SENILITA'.
The new cover, though, offers the impression that SENILITA' is a period musical when it's a rather somber B&W drama. (I've only seen a segment of this film in YouTube).

Yes, probably not.
Although I can't help but wonder how many more copies of SENILITA' could be purchased by Miklos Rozsa's fans if they were only aware how much this Piccioni soundtrack resembles Rozsa's romantic music.
