What date and time is the announcement coming? Sorry, I know it's at midnight, but is that midnight tonight or midnight tomorrow night? And is it pacific time?

The midnight that starts Friday 11/29, Pacific time (41.5 hours from now, in any time zone). That's 3AM eastern.
The releases don't go on sale until the following Tuesday at their standard time, though, so you don't have to technically stay up real late to see the info.

Silently praying Lethal Weapon gets some love Friday. Who's with me?!
It's a lot more than I expected to pay for the Lethal Weapon soundtracks (I would buy just parts 1 and 4 if they were sold separately at $30 a piece), but I would still buy a set at this price if it's the only option. That being said, my instincts tell me that the set won't be Lethal Weapon and that we'll get a much better value if it eventually does come along.
The above article by Tim Burden from 17/11 says "Michael Kamen always deserves to be celebrated and remembered, thankfully this is the case with continued new releases of his music by the soundtrack labels (a very special one is on the horizon!)". Hmm...
I don't think it's necessarily Event Horizon either. Just being a little cheeky about how folks tend to jump on keywords in announcements and take them as clues.
I have it on very good authority that the 8CD set is Herrmann's unused score for The Birds, including alternates, outtakes, and the demos of the film as originally conceived: "The Birds! - The Opera!"
Just wait 'til you hear the Seagull aria: it blows the opera scene in Citizen Kane out of the water. And one listen to the Black Hawk Down Chorus will make you forget about Wuthering Heights. Whilst the Toucan Tap Routine seems a tad passe, I did love the lyric "Get me Peter, Finch".
One whole disc is dedicated to Hitch and Bennie workshopping bird noises. Those guys knew how to tweet.
