Ditto on Red October w/film version tracks (I hope)
Goldsmith: I'm hoping for First Knight (saw the flick recently on local cable station)
Elfman maybe too late for Scrooged?
Williams: Hook would be epic!
Horner: A guilty pleasure-Willow wink
Debney: I have to admit I love his music to Seaquest dsv pilot and the season 1 episodes.
Howard: A lot of good scores. Can't decide which one d'oh!

LLL lets out some great news once again!

http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=75277&forumID=1&archive=0&pageID=1&r=131#bottom

When someone said "we'll be there'", MV replies with,

"As will La La Land with 3 or possibly 4 HUGE titles making their world debut down there. We hope have numerous composer signings as well."

W00t!

Not only huge titles, but all-caps HUGE titles. smile

Thanks for the reminder. I'll get RAT PATROL, but I have Frontiere's autograph on THE OUTER LIMITS set and A NAME FOR EVIL, so I hope those who want it can have it. No need being a piggy.

I'm all set for The Rat Patrol, too, and I don't give a rat's patrol about the autograph either. I'll order after the first 100 are gone.

I don't have a Frontiere autograph yet on any of his albums so I'll take either Steve's or Eugene's. Thanks guys! wink

for the Horner release of 2011, I really want the following..

APOLLO 13, CASPER, and BRAVEHEART.

Now, that being said I am more then certain that LEGENDS OF THE FALL will be the LaLa Land title of 2011.

I'm calling The Pelican Brief for the Horner score. Only because MV posted early last year something to the effect that NEARLY ALL titles from the now defunct the Big Screen Records would be released by Years End (2010).

Runner Up:I Love You To Death (1990)

For Elfman, I'm still saying SCROOGED/NACHO LIBRE.

Again, I defy anyone to tell me that it wouldn't sell itself.

How about Red Heat. (I just had to add this wink)

Willow is my guilty pleasure. But that could be just a dream.

Both sdtks released by Virgin Records.

I'd buy a 2CD Willow as well. Red Heat would find a different home then mine, but would welcome a new album release if it made buyers happy. :-)

If it is WILLOW, I would love it if the tracks could be split up into more manageable cues rather. The original album is exhausting with almost all the tracks being over 8 mins long each.

Yeah, even just a reissue of the original disc of Willow with split tracks would prompt me to buy it. But seeing as the cues are in fact that long, I would imagine it's unlikely.
I also doubt that any expansion will happen on that particular score, as much as some of us want it.

Here's what MV says:

Let me shed some light on this:

Yes, someone jumped the gun on this, so let me just address a few issues here:

We are still working on the set. We are aiming for a Spring release date, most likely late March/early April.

It contains remastered music from 9 of the games, including the most recent one.

It has over 10 hours music. . .

The 8 disc clam shell cases will come housed in a very attractive hard slip cover case (think FSM box set)

The retail price will be: $54.98

I don't know if the 1st 100 will be autographed or if we will be doing a signing event upon its release date.

That's all for now.

Best,
MV

PS We have nothing to do with the Omen. smile "

YES!

Morris - Clue
Poledouris
Portman
Snow - X-Files
Tiomkin
