Varese should have not even announced these until today if they knew they weren't going to ship until this Wednesday.

It's ridiculous to consider these 2013 club releases, these are clearly 2014 club releases.


I guess you can't win. People were anxious to know what Varese was up to and they surprised everyone with an announcement. You are getting your CDs this month, what is a few more days.



Now I see why La-La Land and Intrada actually WAIT to sell and ship CDs until they actually have them on hand.


Not all the time, La La announces things before they have stock. So does Intrada, but not often.

I've no problem waiting for them to ship, but it is a little aggravating to have been already billed for the items...

As a system it is more efficient. It would take more time and delay shipping if after you ordered they had to go through manually processing each order.

That put that up a couple of days AFTER the announcement. Probably in response to people emailing wondering if they were being shipped the following day or that day.

My order says it's already been shipped.

Which is odd considering I ordered within two minutes after they went up...and the person from Varèse told me today they expect to be in WEDNESDAY and start shipping on that day.

So it must have been an error on Varèse's part with that...

No. It was there the moment the announcements were made. I remember specifically because I live in LA and I knew I would be in the neighborhood of Varèse this week, so I chose Will Call pick-up rather than mail delivery.

Glad I'm not the only one using the WILL CALL option. smile I'll go up there Thursday afternoon.

I mailed them a check in December, which I see hasn't yet been cashed. My account status is currently listed as "Ordered."

Might want to contact Varèse to see about that. My order has said "Shipped" - though I know it apparently isn't actually shipping until tomorrow.

Eh, my order has said "shipped" since December.

I'm used to Varese doing this... taking orders a month before actually releasing the albums. To be honest, in the last month I'd kinda forgotten about these. So not a big deal. I did order Nemesis and it'll be great to get it in the next week or so.

My order has also said "Shipped" since about 2 days after I placed the order.

I don't remember if Varese actually sends out tracking numbers or anything like that, but I'm honestly not worried. It'll arrive at some point, and I'll be enjoying it from that date.

I've waited years for Nemesis, and The Abyss complete is a great unexpected bonus, so I'm no major hurry.

My impatience to get it is more anticipation than anything else.

Varèse actually does give out tracking numbers. That's what I actually contacted them about and then asked about when the clubs were gonna be shipping.

I think those that said their orders shipped since that day was probably a glitch in the system.

Odd...I just looked at my order directly from their site and shows the same thing. Must have been a serious glitch in the system.

I posted above that I had mailed them a check in early December, so I'm very glad to receive the confirmation that my order has shipped today.

Good to know! Todd was actually the one I was in contact with Monday.

So hopefully I'll get my email soon since I ordered within about two minutes after they went up.

I got shipment notification (with tracking) from Todd about 35 minutes ago.
