Maybe it's some kind of condensed, 8CD version of that infamous Elfman Music Box/Zoetrope set. After the $500 or whatever it cost to buy that thing, $120 for just the essentials, less all the ballast, would seem quite a bargain. Never say never I guess, but LLL did say they were done with Burton-Elfman after Planet of the Apes.

Given that LLL's two-disc release of the much better known "Lost in Space," which featured a lot of John Williams, was famously a poor seller, it's really hard to imagine LLL rolling the dice on a pricey "Voyage" set four times the size of that one (and without a name brand composer, besides Goldsmith's already released score for the pilot). That's largely because LLL's marketing is second to none. No, I mean that literally. There's None, then there's LLL, then there's Everybody Else in the World. I've been an avid soundtrack collector for 30 years and I didn't hear about the LIS set until it was on clearance, and even then I only heard about it by accident. I posted that it was available on the Hobbytalk and Starship Modeler sites, where there are a lot of Irwin Allen fans, and only one person there mentioned that they already had it. The very existence of such a set was news to everyone else. LLLL needs to approach fans of the shows a little more aggressively. Tracking down where the fans congregate, like modelling forums such as Britmodeller, Hobbytalk, Starship Modeller, Cultman, and whatever the main Japanese sf modelling sites may be, and 3000 copy sets like LIS and Voyage would sell very respectably. There are a lot more fans of tacky 60s sci fi shows than just Trekkies.

There are at least 39 credited scores on "Rawhide". The full series may not have 8CD's worth of scoring. Unless we start counting library music, stock music tracked from other shows, etc.

Ok, everyone talks about this Big Box... But I have a little question about possibly John Debney's "Lair" - it is any chance for this probably in this year ?

It was strongly suggested this was coming out over a year ago. Where was this suggested? Here: https://www.facebook.com/lalalandrecords/posts/10151467325183755 "Hello, Lalaland! Gentlemen, is there a possibility to release John Debney's Lair? This great epic score deserves a CD release and I think it would be a great company to already released Medal of Honor, Socom or Crysis 2 wscores. Debney's score is the kind of music we love the most and I think a limited release would be a great idea. Can we count on it? Can you say something about it? PS: Thanks for The Untouchables, great release!" Answer from La-La Land Records - "You may just get your wish this year"
