And Poltergeist II did indeed arrive today around noon and the helper is working tirelessly to get as many of them out the door as possible today, and the rest will go out tomorrow morning.

Does Kritzerland do tracking numbers in shipping confirmations?

We have tracking on all US packages and the customs numbers on all overseas packages. We got most of it out today, and the rest goes in the morning. Had they arrived in the morning instead of at noon we could have gotten them all out, but it's just my helper doing all of it - 1500 CDs by herself, so she couldn't quite get it all done.

It's time the oft-mentioned "helper" had a name. Even a fictitious one. How about something film related, like "Miss Moneypenny" or "Gilda" or suchlike.

The helper does indeed have a name - Heather. So, her movie connection can be Heathers or The Heather on the Hill.

Well.....I think just as with "Ann Pillsbury" or "Betty Crocker".....she should be called "Heather Kritzerland". smile

Is there a way to check on the tracking numbers? I'm at work all day and the suspense is killing me. big grin

Cripes. Is this thing sold out everywhere, or is there still some place one can order it?

I am in Ohio and nothing showed up today...so I wouldn't get my hopes TOO high. But maybe you will get lucky!

Meh. I'm in the Chicago burbs so I won't get my hopes up. UPS already tried to deliver something else this morning but we aren't home and the Apt. office hadn't opened yet.

Mine didn't arrive today and won't arrive tomorrow, because I live in old europe, so.... I have to wait some more days or weeks.
But: Isn't it strange and enjoying that another old Goldsmith title that had some releases on vinyl and cd long time before is making some of us nervous and very happy??? WOW! (Will there ever a contemporary filmmusic composer be able so "create" that feelings in some future decades??? I'm not really sure about that...)

Got mine today! Just some thoughts:

The sound quality is definitely worth the upgrade. As promised, the shrill pitch of the Varese disc has been nicely corrected. The analogue source reveals some tape hiss but the music has a rich, warm quality. The choir component is more upfront and detailed. (Don't listen to at night!) And there is far more orchestral detail as promised. Very happy!!
