There has been an update posted to Stitch Kingdom. Toy Story seems to be postponed indefinitely, with other dates moved around. Interesting that Lady and the Tramp is listed as "Lady and the Tramp 60th Anniversary — April 28, 2015, exclusively through Intrada"

Details here:

Like the earlier poster, I wonder what all this means to those of us who (severely overpaid) to preorder the entire series?

Wonder what happened to cause the delay?

The full report:

With an originally advertised release date of March 17, 2015 looming dangerously near with no official mention of the Toy Story 20th Anniversary entry in the Disney Music Emporiums Legacy Collection, several readers have reached out to us asking if we had any additional information. We, in turn, have reached out to Disney Music to confirm rumors that the Toy Story album may be delayed and we regret to report that a delay has in fact been confirmed to us. While we have seen reports about a May release, the information given to us by Disney Music was not quite as optimistic, offering only that the release date is officially to be determined and Disney is hopeful that it is ready for release by the time Disney D23 Expo happens in August. Specific reasons for its delay were not provided, however it is interesting to note that one of the titles Cinderella was announced for an early release at the Expo, but has been moved up by over a month.

In addition, Disney has offered us an updated calendar for the remaining releases announced in the first year of the Legacy Collection program. They are as follows:

Lady and the Tramp 60th Anniversary April 28, 2015, exclusively through Intrada (Originally May 12)
Disneyland 60th Anniversary In-park on May 6, 2015; Available everywhere else August 18, 2015 (Originally April 7)
Cinderella 65th Anniversary June 23, 2015 (Originally August 14 / Disney D23 Expo)
Pocahontas 20th Anniversary July 21, 2015 (Originally June 23)
The Aristocats 45th Anniversary At Disney D23 Expo on August 11, 2015; Available everywhere else on August 18, 2015 (Originally August 14 everywhere).

Well, that somewhat clears up the situation a bit. Like Bookpodder, I wonder why Lady and the Tramp is being released through Intrada.

I'm excited that some of these titles are approaching (especially TOY STORY, which I hope is expanded... although TOY STORY 2 is one I'd really go insane for).

Nevertheless, at some point, I hope they get around to TRON LEGACY - THE LEGACY COLLECTION... both because I'd love to but it but also because of the name.

Unlike the Toy Storys, I think you'd turn several interesting shades of blue while holding your breath waiting for that one.

As far as we know. :-( Toy Story was once coming, too... and hopefully still will get released. I'm starting to lose hope that the Legacy Collection won't continue after this year.

Interesting that Toy Story is on the list, but it and Pocahontas are both flagged as "Date subject to change"

And, as much as I love Intrada, I'm hoping this series maintains its consistent packaging.

Just found some great news buried in the comments replies from the Disney Parks Blog! It looks like the Disneyland set will be a 3 disc release! I'm still expecting a ton of repeats from the Musical History of Disneyland box (which I have), but nevertheless this will be great for those who never got that. Hopefully I'll be surprised though, and will see enough new stuff to warrant picking this up when it comes out in the parks this Summer. Between the availability of the World's Fair set and the ride specific CDs from the last few years, it's possible this will focus less on ride-throughs than that release, but who knows. I'm bummed this line of soundtracks wasn't around a few years ago for Epcot's 30th.. THAT is the park that I'm desperate to get more music for, and there's just TONS that has never been released!

Just in case everyone forgot, here is Roger's press release for Lady and the Tramp:

INTRADA Announces:

LADY AND THE TRAMP
Composed and Conducted by
Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection D002066192

Set in a quaint Middle American small town in the early 1900s, the 1955 Walt Disney film Lady and the Tramp centers on the charming romance between a pampered pooch and a bone-a-fide mutt. Told from a dog’s-eye point of view, Disney’s classic canine caper features unforgettable songs and a memorable score that is the musical tail wagging his beloved dog story. Following Cinderella, this time around Disney wanted songs that would convey emotions and personality, as well as to help the Disney artists tell their cinematic story. Disney turned to a fresh and invigorating source of songs: movie, radio, television and recording great, Peggy Lee, the sensuous songster who was a top-of-the-charts star. Along with the talents of song writer Sonny Burke, the film featured a plethora of effervescent vocals. Combined with the cracking score by composer Oliver Wallace, a nostalgic classic was born.

In 1997, the actual soundtrack elements were released on an album for the first time. The original Disneyland Records LP release were studio recordings and not the recordings from the original soundtrack (except for “Home Sweet Home”) that ultimately premiered in 1997. Walt Disney Records has included those versions as bonus tracks on disc two following The Lost Chords for their premiere CD release. Although the movie is a CinemaScope film and in stereo (at least the dialog and sound effects are), the music elements have always been in mono. For this release, Disney music expert and restoration genius Randy Thornton has turned out the cleanest and brightest soundtrack version of this heartwarming classic. Combined with the deluxe packaging of the Legacy collection featuring gorgeous new custom artwork, this new release is the ultimate edition and not to be missed.

Lady and the Tramp is available now and exclusive from Intrada, select soundtrack retailers and Amazon until August 2015 when it goes into wide release.

It would seem that the contents for the first disc are the same as the earlier disc. The second disc has some demos and the Tutti Caramata recordings of the songs. I'm glad they included pretty much all of the Tutti Caramata recordings (the absence I noticed was an instrumental track entitled "Lady" and they explained "Home Sweet Home") as this was one of the issues I had with Sleeping Beauty's Legacy release.
