Interesting answer Mr Dan, but alas, no. Here's another hint: I also scored a popular sixties series and its mid seventies sequel? Who am I?

Laurie Johnson

Hammer cult classic = CAPTAIN KRONOS, VAMPIRE HUNTER
'60s TV series and its '70s sequel = THE AVENGERS & THE NEW AVENGERS

That's correct Josh. Laurie Johnson of The Avengers and of The New Avengers wrote to the 1972 Hammer flick: Captain Kronos Vampire Hunter.

In the early sixties he collaborated with Stanley Kubrick on Dr. Strangelove and also composed a wonderfully Herrmannesque score for First Men in the Moon in 1964.

hint - This film composer did only about 20 films from the late 50's till the late 60's. He was more active in the classical field.

Life is so weird. One moment, I walk into the wrong office, and the next, I'm scoring a movie about killer lions. What a way to start a career.

Who am I?

I think that would be ROBERT FOLK, talking about his first film scoring assignment, SAVAGE HARVEST-1981.

I scored around a 150 films in my career that lasted over 5 decades. Films of all types of all genres. big films, small films, some won awards, some became famous. However I only scored a half dozen genre films yet one is of the most popular horror films of all time from the early 90'S Who am I? I have a hint ready if you need it.
