I would love to see a release of this score also. I wish Intrada, Kritzerland or maybe Quartet would make a comment on whether this is a possibility from any label. Perhaps there was some understanding with the Copland estate that keeps this from being released. ????
In a few hours it will be MICHEL LEGRAND'S BIRTHDAY. A composer who has giving us some beautiful music. Throughout the next 24 hours I will list just some of what I feel are his most beautiful to me. Folks much of this stuff is available on certain formats[ Lp's cassettes, Cd's, Dvd's etc], so if you have not heard all of his delicious music , take it further.
did not read all messages but I hope someone mentioned Brian's Song. I remember this being a nominee for an Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Music Composition - For a Special Program. Jane Eyre by John Williams won but shows the great music written for TV at the time
